The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 2491

"Wow..."

The dance instructor was absolutely astounded as she watched Ivy effortlessly memorize and execute the choreography. Her mouth was agape with amazement.

"Ivy, are you some kind of prodigy or what? I remember you told me the last time you danced was three years ago, right?"

Ivy, feeling a bit shy, tied her hair back into a ponytail as it had been getting in the way, "It really has been three years, Ms. Madison. I wouldn't lie to you."

"It's just unfair, you know? I've been at this for years, and there are still some moves that don't come to me as naturally as they do to you after a three-year break."

Dancing is one of the skills that you should always practice. But then there are those with a natural talent who, even after a hiatus, only need to brush up a bit to get their groove back.

And Ivy was one such person.

She could still remember being a little girl when Tessa had hired a dance instructor for her, laying the groundwork for flexibility and technique early on.

Unfortunately, life happened, and she didn't get to continue her training. The last time Ivy danced was three years ago, at a school event where she followed the steps laid out by the instructor.

Now, standing in the studio again, Ivy felt like she was reliving her childhood. Her heart was brimming with joy.

The regrets that she felt when she couldn’t continue the training were slowly being mended, step by step.

After the dance session, Ivy dashed off to the music room without skipping a beat.

Piano was something she had always been familiar with. So she had someone compose a short piece for her—a gift she intended for her fans.

This piece wouldn't hit the internet; Ivy wanted to preserve its purity and keep it untainted by the market.

Sometimes, in Ivy's rush to get to practice, it was Balfour who reminded her to take her nutritional supplements at the right times to keep her energy up.

His thoughtfulness was also evident in the way he prepared her drinks: one cup filled with lukewarm coffee, the other slightly hotter. Ms. Madison wondered how much effort he put into these little details.

Seeing such attentiveness, Ms. Madison couldn't help but shake her head in admiration, thinking how fitting it was for a handsome CEO to be with Ivy, the beautiful swan. And seeing him so dedicated to his girlfriend made her question what the less good-looking guys had to be so proud of.

When would her own prince charming come along? She thought.

"Bravo!" Ms. Madison couldn't help but applaud Ivy at the end of her performance. Balfour and Ivy exchanged a smile that spoke volumes.

Ivy felt a twinge of embarrassment; she had been so focused on her dance that she hadn’t even noticed when Balfour had slipped in.
