The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1502

Balfour furrowed his brow in thought. He was right; if he took Adrian away now, the man would be left alone without even a child to keep him company. When Sophia returned, he'd have no way to explain.

Yet, allowing Adrian to stay here, to stay with Sophia, who didn't have the best intentions, didn't sit well with him either.

Adrian seemed to understand his uncle's concerns. He tugged at Balfour's shirt and said, "Uncle, I've been with this handsome man for several days now, and I'm fine. Please don't tell Mommy yet, or she'll worry."

Balfour pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling at a loss.

No wonder Ellinor had mentioned that Adrian was always running around lately. It turned out the two kids had been swapped.

It was such an unbelievable coincidence.

Balfour stared at Marcus with serious warning in his eyes. "You better take good care of him. If not, you’ll regret it."

Marcus nodded calmly. "I'd appreciate it if you could ask Ms. Ellinor to take good care of my son as well."

...

Meanwhile, Byran was pressed against the wall of his suite, straining to hear any sounds. Unfortunately, he couldn't make out anything.

The presidential suite was too big. The room separated by a wall was still a bedroom, and the soundproofing was excellent. It was almost impossible to overhear anything.

He had secretly followed his brother, first seeing him enter the suite across the hall. After a while, he saw his brother leave, knock on the door, and enter the suite next door to his.

Byran was utterly confused by his brother's actions. He had initially thought his brother was here to see his girlfriend.

The more he thought about it, the more things didn't add up. Byran paced back and forth in his temporary suite, trying to come up with a plan.

Unable to think of a solution, he pulled out his phone and dialed Ellinor's number.

At this time, Ellinor had just returned from lunch and was busy with work.

When she answered, she absentmindedly said, "Hello?"

"Sis, it's me!" Byran muttered.

Ellinor hummed in response. "You're late. I've already eaten, so you can't mooch off my food. Go get something to eat yourself."
