The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1472

‘Marcus’ quickly snapped back to reality after watching a stranger take away his son and yelled, "Stop right there!"

The woman carrying Tristan seemed oblivious to his cry. She did not even turn to look back before she disappeared into the crowd.

Marcus, hindered by his inability to walk, immediately spun his wheelchair around to chase after her. Just as he was about to make his move, he heard the bathroom door creak open, followed by a small voice crying, "Daddy..."

His movements halted, and he quickly turned his gaze towards the bathroom as his eyes widened with shock.

What?

Adrian poked his head out of the stall, relieved to see that his mother had left. The crisis was averted, so now he could call out to his father.

But who did his mother just take away instead of him?

Marcus’ eyes narrowed to slits as he wondered how his son and the boy the woman took away could look exactly alike.

...

Ellinor had just stepped out of the restroom with 'Adrian' in her arms when she bumped into an out-of-breath Quinton.

Quinton was ordered by Mr. Howard to protect Ms. Mendoza. But when he arrived, she had already gone. After a long search, he finally found her.

And even better, Ms. Mendoza had found young master Adrian. He could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Otherwise, he wouldn't know how to explain it to Mr. Howard and Ms. Mendoza.

"Ms. Mendoza, where did you find young master Adrian?" Quinton asked.

Ellinor tilted her head and motioned to the men's restroom with her chin. "Right in there."

Ellinor set Adrian down and shrugged. "What else was I supposed to do?"

Balfour looked at his sister, feeling a wave of discontent.

In his eyes, his sister was a pure and untouchable angel. How could she step foot into a place like the men's restroom?

Had she seen anything distasteful that would tarnish her innocence?

Thinking about this, Balfour turned his anger towards Quinton. "Didn't I tell you to stay with her? Why did you let her go in there alone? What were you doing?"

Quinton bowed his head in shame. "I apologize, Mr. Howard. I was not diligent enough. Ms. Mendoza moved too quickly, and I failed to keep up with her. I only found them afterwards."

Balfour huffed. "What good are you then?!"
