The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1338

After hearing this, Balfour, Byran, Ida, and Chase all became pissed off.

They stopped holding each other back, ready for a showdown with those disgusting blokes.

They strode forward, and then suddenly, a tall man blocked their way.

They were on alert at first, but once they got a clear look at the man, they were all dumbfounded.

Then the man strode toward the yard and kicked the iron gate open with a bang.

Upon seeing the newcomer, the henchmen were taken aback.

"You... you... didn't you croak? Are you a ghost or what?"

Theo asked icily, "Where's my wife?"

"We don't know who your wife is! Let's get him! We'll hand him over to the boss!" One of the henchmen took the lead.

Theo kicked over their barbecue grill, scattering the hot coals all over the floor. The men yelled in pain as the coals scorched their bodies and faces.

Once they recovered, they all lunged at Theo.

Unbeknownst to them, three more tall men and a woman in gold-rimmed glasses had entered the yard to back Theo up.

Ida adjusted her glasses, bent down, and grabbed one of the downed men. "Spill! Where did you guys take the pregnant woman?"

Ellinor was livid, her voice hoarse from shouting. "What on earth are you blabbering about?! He can't be dead! Tell me where he is, or I swear I'll kill you!"

The silver-haired man, with blood oozing from his mouth and his eyes swollen shut, was still grinning. "Kill me if you want! He's already dead! The cops even took his body away, don't you know? Hahaha, you crazy woman. Why are you going mad over a dead man?"

Ellinor's eyes had turned a murderous red. She trembled with rage and yelled, "You bastard! How dare you insult Theo? Give him back to me! Give him back!"

The silver-haired man's ears rang from Ellinor's punch. It took him a while to recover, then he gritted his teeth and said, "He's dead. Killing me won't bring him back, you crazy woman!"

Ellinor was shaking all over. Since she learned the news, she'd been trying to suppress her emotions and stay calm. But now she couldn't control her feelings anymore. Her heart was about to shatter.

She'd been trying to keep her distance from that man, but she'd never imagined he would die and disappear from the world. She couldn't accept the truth.
