The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1259

The elevator doors slid shut, and the floor indicator flickered down to 1.

Ellinor came back to her senses, letting out a long sigh. She was just about to pull her front door shut.

When suddenly another figure appeared in front of her, blocking the door she was about to close.

"Mrs. Blanchet, this is soup from Mr. Blanchet!"

It was Collin. He was holding a thermos; he seemed to have been waiting at the door.

Did Theo really bring her soup?

Ellinor was a bit moved, then she quickly snapped back to reality.

No, this soup wasn't for her; it was for the kid in her belly.

Ellinor, with a cold expression, pushed Collin away. "Thanks, but no thanks."

Collin, looking helpless, quickly stuck his hand out to stop the door from closing. "Mrs. Blanchet, Mr. Blanchet got up early to make this soup himself! Want to give it a try?"

Ellinor, unable to close the door, felt irritated. "So just because he made it, I have to try it?"

"Mrs. Blanchet, Mr. Blanchet was worried that his grandma put too many health supplements in your soup, which might be bad for you if you were to drink too much. So, he made you this soup himself, following a nutritious recipe. It's his gesture of care; even if you don't drink it, at least have a look! I've been with Mr. Blanchet for many years, and this is the first time I've seen him cook."

Ellinor paused, feeling a bit swayed but not moved.

However, it seemed like if she didn't accept this soup, Collin would not let her close the door.

After a moment's thought, Ellinor took the thermos from Collin's hand. "Fine, I'll take the soup!"

Collin grinned. "Ellinor, I knew you would accept it!"

Collin took this as an implicit invitation to enter, so he followed her in, closing the door behind him.

Once inside, he stood properly at the entrance, not moving any further.

Ellinor saw Collin standing there but ignored him, setting the thermos casually on the table before retreating to her own room.

Things were getting more and more chaotic; she really didn't understand what Theo was up to.

Was he really planning on keeping her as a mistress?

He dared to look down on her?!

...

Chase led Belinda to a very cozy restaurant, where they shut the doors in the middle of the day, creating the atmosphere of a candlelit dinner.
