The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 329

“No, it’s not that.”

Joseph broke into a wide grin. “So it does look good.”

“Yes,” Vivica nodded, smiling. An involuntary compliment escaped her. “It looks great. With your figure, you’d look good in anything.”

“And even better in nothing,” she thought.

The thought ambushed her, and she was shocked at her own audacity. It had only been a few days, and she was already having such shameless thoughts.

“It fits perfectly. It’s amazing you got the size just right on your first try.” Joseph examined himself in the suit and was quite pleased. While it wasn't on the same level as his usual brands, the fabric and tailoring were excellent.

Then, a sour thought crossed his mind. The fact that she was so good at picking out clothes for a man suddenly annoyed him.

“That scumbag ex-husband of yours really didn't know what he had,” he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “He had to lose it all to finally feel regret.”

Vivica’s expression darkened. “Why are you bringing him up?”

“No reason. I just think he’s an idiot.”

An idiot whose foolishness, he admitted privately, had created an opportunity for him.

Vivica snorted. “He’s not an idiot. He was too clever for his own good, and his schemes ultimately backfired on him.”

Regretting he’d even mentioned his rival, Joseph quickly changed the subject, his eyes landing on the other bags on the sofa. “What are these? Are they for me too?”

Vivica followed his gaze. “Yes,” she confirmed. “They’re all for you.”

She hurried over to the remaining shopping bags, taking out the boxes and opening them one by one.
