The Fake Heiress Turns Out to Be a True Tycoon! novel Chapter 97

Chapter 97: Chapter 97 Golden Agent Juno Wilder

Lucas Jennings made no effort to hide his voice, loudly broadcasting the news to everyone at home who needed to know.

Donovan Jennings was a bit surprised to hear that Scarlett wanted to participate in a reality show.

Although they hadn’t known each other long, in the time they’d spent together, it was clear she wasn’t the type to seek the limelight. Even when she dabbled in metaphysics and geomancy, it was only because she sensed it was necessary.

Otherwise, someone like Adam or Chase might’ve already been dealt with.

But regardless of her reasons, if Scarlett wanted to join a reality show, Donovan was naturally supportive.

Not only did he support her, but he also offered to accompany her to meet the so-called producer.

"You don’t have an agent, so someone needs to go over the program’s requirements and the contract terms carefully for you."

He didn’t think anyone would dare make a move on the Jennings Family, but just to be safe, especially since this was a rare occasion where Scarlett showed interest in something beyond metaphysics.

Even though their second uncle had his entertainment company, Donovan wasn’t too fond of his uncle’s attitude towards Scarlett and had no intention of affiliating Scarlett with his uncle’s company.

After some thought, he shrugged it off and made a phone call.

Soon, Donovan returned, smiling as he told Scarlett,

"I borrowed a Golden Agent. This afternoon, they’ll accompany us to meet the producer."

If his sister was making her "debut," not just any reality show would do; a professional had to be involved to ensure the right choices were made.

"Borrow?" Scarlett found the choice of word somewhat familiar.

Donovan just smiled without saying anything.

Sure enough, in the afternoon, she saw the professional her brother had "borrowed" for her.

The Golden Agent from Star Entertainment Co., Juno Wilder, known for managing top-tier actors and actresses, was the very picture of a competent yet gentle businesswoman.

The moment she laid eyes on Scarlett, her eyes crinkled into a smile, far from the intimidating aura typical of industry powerhouses.

"I’ve heard a lot about Miss Jennings online recently. I didn’t expect to meet you in person today."

Though she said this, someone of Juno’s status wouldn’t ordinarily consider signing such a "net celebrity," particularly given how fleeting their fame could be in this age.

Nonetheless, it couldn’t be denied that this girl, Scarlett Jennings, had all the potential to become a star.

She had a powerful background, was talented, her appearance was flawless, and she carried a natural intrigue with her metaphysical buzz—a package that required minimal effort to generate interest.

There were even several entertainment companies she knew of that were trying to get in touch and sign her.

However, her ties to the Jennings Family made her personal information tightly guarded. Scarlett Jennings’s identity wasn’t widely known online, beyond the circles of the elite.

She only learned about this opportunity because the Chalmers Family’s special assistant had passed it down from headquarters.

What she didn’t expect was for the Chalmers Family to agree to this, especially after a young master from a branch of their family was outright denied an endorsement to debut under Star Realm.

It was with this in mind that Juno spoke with utmost respect to Miss Jennings.

They had just exchanged a few words when Quincy Zimmerman finally arrived.

Quincy was quite looking forward to the prospect of Scarlett joining the reality show.

Because Quincy had previously invited some of her artists to participate.

Ultimately, she’d declined his offer after weighing several factors.

Firstly, the involvement of her artists would diminish their market value, and secondly, the risk associated with metaphysical-themed productions due to unpredictable state regulations, which, while no longer stringent, could still suddenly shut down the show.

These were all risk factors.

Prior to Quincy’s visit, Juno had already shared these potential risks with Scarlett, but Miss Jennings clearly wasn’t concerned.

Indeed, Scarlett merely raised an eyebrow at the mention of the Clear Breeze Temple’s Taoist, offering little commentary on anything else. Once she understood the nature of the show, she left the contractual negotiations to Juno and Quincy.

Quincy was very accommodating, offering her a deal second only to the top-tier artists, as a gesture of respect to both the Jennings and Juno.

Since both sides were clear on their intentions, Quincy readily agreed,

"I’ll have a contract drafted based on the specifics when I get back. Should I coordinate directly with Star after that?"

Scarlett looked to Donovan, who was very pleased with her willingness to follow his lead and smiled, "Scarlett will be under Star’s name for now, so coordinate everything through Star Entertainment."

He borrowed resources, but it wasn’t just to borrow people.

Especially since the Great Demon King was unusually agreeable this time, he didn’t intend to be modest.

With the arrangements settled, Quincy was about to leave, but just as he stood, Scarlett, who had been mostly silent, unexpectedly handed him a yellow talisman paper.

Accompanied by her clear, soft voice, she said quietly,

"A meeting gift, keep it close if you frequent areas with heavy shadow energy."
