As everyone was chattering, a little commotion at the door made several heads turn. Chloe and Jeanette had just walked in.

Keira looked up at Chloe, who was watching her with a blank expression. She flashed a light smile, a look that only Chloe would understand. Her face was soft, but her eyes were filled with smugness and a challenger's provocation.
