The Enticing CEO's Chosen Bride novel Chapter 392

Keira turned pale as a ghost.

Chloe sneered, "Even a lowlife like you wouldn't dare to pull such a stunt in front of Mrs. Watson, let alone anyone else."

As Chloe spoke, she took a step towards Keira, her voice dripping with ice-cold disdain, "I thought I would need to put some effort into securing the investment. But Keira, who would have thought, it would be this easy. Lance really thought he could win the Watson family's investment through you? What the hell was he thinking?"

Chloe didn't continue, but instead broke into a knowing smirk.

Keira felt a twinge of pain, "What do you mean?"

Chloe just shook her head with a mocking look, "Why should I tell you?"

With that, she ignored Keira and walked away.

Keira trembled with anger. She had been so careful, not daring to let her guard down for a second. Who did Chloe think she was?

Chloe walked over to Susana. After a brief discussion, they decided to chill at a dessert shop. After carefully asking about Susana's preferences, Chloe didn't get her a cake but instead a scoop of ice cream.

She and Rose also got themselves some ice cream. Keira, on a diet, just ordered a juice.

Susana was thrilled to see the ice cream, "How did you know I love having ice cream while shopping!?"

Chloe chuckled and nodded, "Who doesn't enjoy shopping with ice cream in hand?"

As Susana chatted more with Chloe, she found it increasingly enjoyable. After finishing their ice cream, they seemed to be recharged and continued shopping.

In the end, Susana paid for the B City specialties for all three of them. Keira felt incredibly awkward. Looking at the simple pastries in her hand, she wanted to decline.

However, Chloe just thanked her and without any hesitation accepted Susana's gift. Rose didn't refuse either.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Watson. Next time you visit P City, please let me know. I'll show you around." Chloe said.

"Sounds good. We can enjoy ice cream together then." Susana said.

Chloe laughed it off, "That's a must!"

At that moment, a luxurious black car pulled up at the entrance of the shopping mall.
