The Enticing CEO's Chosen Bride novel Chapter 309

Taking a deep breath, she looked at Damon with a mischievous twinkle sparkling in her eyes.

"You want to get me a gift, huh? Alright, I like alpacas."

Damon's forehead crinkled, a clear look of distaste spreading across his unbeatable handsome face.

" Alpaca?"

Chloe chuckled, "Yes, I really like them."

With that, she opened the car door and stepped out.

Damon followed suit.

Coincidentally, they bumped into the mother-daughter duo they had met yesterday in the apartment lobby once again.

The lobby lights were bright, reflecting off the well-polished floors, making it look even brighter.

Anya was playing with the lights on the floor, stepping on them one by one all the way to the entrance.

Her mother seemed to be on a call, her voice clear, concise, and organized.

Seeing Chloe and Damon walk in, she looked up and then hugged Chloe's knees.

"Pretty lady."

Chloe's heart softened when she looked at Anya's innocent and cute cheeks and her big eyes.

"Good evening, Anya."

She picked up Anya and couldn't help but rub her cheek against her soft little face.

"Handsome man."

Anya, who was lying on Chloe's shoulder, smiled at Damon. Her little white teeth looked very pretty.

Damon closed his lips slightly, nodding his head.

His demeanor was serious and well-mannered, like he was speaking to an adult.

Anya's mom had hung up the phone by then and turned around to see two familiar faces. She paused for a moment, then walked over.

As they entered the elevator, the woman began introducing herself.

"Yes, my name is Yulia Dailey, and Anya's full name is Anya Dailey."

Chloe said, "Your daughter's name is lovely."

Yulia shook her head, "You're mistaken, Anya is my sister."

Chloe nodded but couldn't help looking at Anya and Yulia, as she was a bit surprised when she heard this.

"Oh, my bad. I misunderstood."

Yulia smiled calmly, "It's okay. I've been taking care of Anya since she was little, and she's always called me mom. I'm used to it."

Chloe also smiled lightly, not asking further. Even though she had many questions, it didn't really matter, she wasn't curious enough to delve into other people's family matters.

The elevator stopped at the fourteenth floor, Chloe said goodbye to Anya, and then looked at Yulia, saying calmly, "Drop by my place sometime, I live on the sixteenth floor."

"Sure."
