Celine was sitting in the dressing room while the makeup artist worked on her. Her skin was flawless—so smooth and radiant that she looked stunning no matter what makeup was applied.
Grace arrived with Bella, and the little girl happily threw herself into Celine's arms. "Mommy, Mommy, you look so pretty today! But, of course, you look pretty every day!"
Bella started off by showering her with sweet compliments.
Celine immediately planted a kiss on Bella's cheek. "I've missed you so much, Bella."
Grace stepped forward. "Congratulations, Celine."
Celine smiled. "Mrs. Alvarez, I've been so busy lately. Thank you for taking care of Bella."
"Bella's my own granddaughter. She's part of the Alvarez bloodline. It's only natural that I, her grandma, take care of her. I love spending time with Bella more than anything." Grace looked at Bella with pure affection.
Bella giggled.
"Celine, Mr. Hampton and Fiona officially made you their goddaughter. Who would've thought that the connection between the Alvarezes and the Hamptons would keep going strong? I'm genuinely happy for you," Grace said.
Grace truly meant it. She was happy for Celine.
Celine smiled warmly.
Outside, in the grand hall, Nigel and Fiona stood under dazzling lights. Nigel wore a custom-tailored black suit, looking dashing and composed. Fiona was dressed in an elegant gown, dignified and graceful. They made a stunning pair.
Several CEOS were gathered around Nigel and Fiona, offering their congratulations.
"Mr. Hampton, Mrs. Hampton, congrats on gaining another precious daughter."
"We've heard all about Ms. Tate. But from now on, we should be calling her Ms. Hampton, right?"
Fiona smiled. "Celine is the apple of our eye now. You all better not try to take advantage of her."
