The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 642

Carly could never understand why Celine's presence always reduced her to a mere supporting role.

Three years had passed. She was now the daughter of the wealthiest man, yet nothing had changed.

She hated Celine to no end.

After the Apex Gala, Adam looked at Celine and asked, "Celine, where are you staying? Can I give you a ride home?"

He wanted to talk to her.

Celine politely declined. "Mr. Alvarez, I have a driver. There's no need."

She glanced at Carly. "Besides, your fiancée is right here. You should stay with her."

Adam frowned and tried to explain his relationship with Carly.

Just then, Celine's phone rang, cutting him off.

Celine took out her phone and saw that it was Perry calling.

"Mr. Alvarez, I need to take this call," she said before stepping away.

Adam saw Perry's name on the screen. Had Celine been with Perry all this time?

Celine found a quiet spot and answered. "Hello, Perry."

"Hey, Celine. Where are you?"

"I'm at the Apex Gala."

"Perfect. I'm bringing Bella to see you."

Celine tightened her grip on the phone. "Bella? Perry, you brought her to the Capitol?"

Celine nodded. "Yes. I'll go back to my room. Have Bella meet me there."

The assistant nodded. "Alright."

Meanwhile, Adam was still at the gala, waiting for Celine to return, but after waiting for a while, it was clear she wasn't coming back.

He knew Celine wasn't going to return.

Adam clenched his jaw and strode out. He was going to find her.

Before he could leave, Carly stepped in his way.

"Adam, where are you going? Are you going to find Celine?" she asked.

Adam's expression darkened as he retorted, "Since you already know, why bother asking?"

Carly's eyes flashed with desperation as she blocked his path. "Adam, I won't let you go. Celine came back just to seduce you. She's trying to steal you from me!"
