The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 475

The butler announced, "Aurelia has arrived."

By all rights, Melissa should be handed over to the authorities for her transgressions.

But Aurelia knew the Stirling family wanted to handle Melissa privately, without involving the outside world. After all, no one liked their dirty laundry aired in public.

"Mom!" Kane ran to her side, hugging her tightly. Thankfully, Aurelia had been smart enough to protect herself from Melissa's destructive tendencies.

Aurelia gently stroked her son's head, her gaze meeting Melissa's.

Melissa was also looking at her, eyes wide with rage, as if she was the victim here.

"Have you come to gloat?" she snarled.

Aurelia calmly met her gaze, replying, "I have no interest in gloating. I just want to know, what deep-seated grudge do we have between us?"

"Love rivalry, an irreconcilable enmity." Melissa gritted out.

"Love rivalry?" Aurelia scoffed, "You helped Megan try to steal my husband. Did you think there would be no repercussions? And let's be clear, Elvis was never your husband, even not friends. You were just infatuated with him."

Melissa's mouth twitched violently as if stung by a wasp.

"You and Leopold are mismatched, and you are not worthy of him. Megan is the perfect match for him because she's born into a wealthy family and Leopold's first love. You should step aside actively."

Aurelia was flabbergasted. Such hypocritical behavior was a first for her.

Leopold’s icy eyes flashed, his cold gaze making him particularly grim, "Who is worthy of me is for me to decide. Aurelia will not be with Elvis, but there will always be other women around him. Men despise women who can't let go. You're only making him despise you more."

Melissa snorted disdainfully, "If he won't marry me, he won't marry anyone. Whoever he's with, I'll make sure she's out of the picture."

Aurelia met Melissa's gaze head-on, her voice icy, "I won't forgive you, but I'm willing to give you a second chance. I won't pursue this matter any further, but you better watch yourself."

With that, she respectfully bid Jessica goodbye and left.

Jessica watched her retreating, seeing a reflection of her younger self. She was magnanimous but not weak.

Melissa spat on the floor and cursed, "Who are you to forgive me?"

Jessica frowned, "If you were half the woman Aurelia is, Elvis wouldn't have rejected you. I blame myself for not disciplining you properly, allowing you to become so arrogant."

She ordered the butler to take Melissa away and administer family punishment.

Without a few lashes, she wouldn't learn her lesson.
