The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 353

"Enough, Lizzy, Leopold isn't a man you can toy with. Better stay in your lane or I'll send you back to Freysland." Lisa cut her off, having her own intentions. As long as Leopold was with Aurelia, Arnold would lose hope and shift his attention towards her.

Lizzy puffed out her cheeks in frustration. Why could Lisa pursue the man she loved and she couldn't? If Lisa could get Arnold, why can’t she pursue Leopold?

Seeing Leopold enter the hall, she rushed over to greet him, "Hey, I'm Lizzy, Lisa's sister, remember me?"

Leopold was as cold as ice, he nodded slightly out of politeness and headed upstairs.

A sense of disappointment washed over Lizzy. Leopold was unlike any man she had met. Other men would be entranced by her, but he barely glanced at her, cold as a block of ice.

"It’s my second time here, and this place is so big, can you show me around?" She tried to follow but was stopped by the house staff. The Stirling Mansion had strict security measures, guests were not allowed upstairs unless escorted by the host.

Leopold didn't respond at all and disappeared around a corner.

Lizzy bit her lip and turned around only to see Elowen approaching.

How could a lively party like this be without her?

She sighed at Lizzy, "I guess you don't know I used to be Leopold's fiancee. Unfortunately, I was replaced by Aurelia. Have you heard of her? She’s such a bitch and loves to lure other people’s men. Competing with her for a man isn't an easy task."

Leaving her words hanging in the air, she went upstairs.

At this moment, Aurelia was in Kane's room, watching cartoons with the children.

Nina whispered into Kane's ear, "I just saw your parents kissing."

Kane blinked. It seemed they had made up, which put his mind at ease.

He turned to Aurelia, "Mom, do you like the ring dad gave you?"

A maid brought coffee.

Elowen took a sip and complained, "Aurelia, you're quite cunning, aren't you? I trusted you so much, but you've been playing me like a fool from the start."

Aurelia stirred her coffee slowly, "I've never played you. My marriage with Leopold was just a contract. After the children were born, we were to divorce. When I left, the divorce papers were already signed. He was supposed to marry Evelyn, but you exposed Evelyn's scheme and showed him her true colors, so he gave up on her."

Elowen huffed, "So, I set the stage for you?"

Aurelia sighed, "I've been gone for three years, and you still haven't won his heart. Can you blame me for that?"

Elowen pouted, "Leopold seems to have a taste for women who are no longer in his life. First, it was Megan, now it's you.

Aurelia waved her finger, "He doesn't like me, and he just thinks I'm naive, not prone to scheming him, suitable to be his wife. You're his cousin, and you've been with him for so long, yet you still don't know he likes innocent women."
