The Billionaire's True Heiress: From Fake Jewel to Real Crown novel Chapter 216

He couldn’t stop himself from sending messages in the group chat.

Norris: I think I found Melissa’s daughter.

Phil: Norris, are you serious right now?

Owen: Wait, what? There’s no way. I couldn’t find her at all. How did you manage that?

Norris didn’t answer. Instead, he got up and walked over.

Whether she was actually his niece or not, he couldn’t just stand by. In a fight, it was always the girl who ended up getting hurt.

“Carr, Claire, what happened in the cafeteria? Why were you two fighting?”

Fletcher kept his tone neutral. He didn’t point fingers at anyone. He just stared at them both.

“We have a cafeteria so you can eat well and focus on your studies. It’s not there for you to start brawling.”

“Look at you. It’s only the first day of camp and you’re already fighting. If we sent you to an international competition, would you even make it to the real match or just start a civil war among yourselves?”

Fletcher was clearly upset, and honestly, he was disappointed in Claire. He’d thought highly of her before. She was smart, sharp, and when people attacked her online, she hadn’t fallen apart. He’d admired her for that. Sure, she seemed to get into trouble now and then, but as long as she had good grades and a solid character, she’d have a bright future. But fighting on the very first day? That was pushing it.

“Sir, she hit me!” Carr insisted, louder this time.

Fletcher didn’t look impressed. “So why did she hit you? What started this fight?”

Carr suddenly lost his nerve.
