The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet novel Chapter 1121

Thalassa stiffened, the hairs on the back of her neck standing up. She didn't need to glance over her shoulder to know who it was.

"You..." Thalassa began to speak.

"Don't move, just swing the club like I showed you," came Lysander’s deep, resonant voice, his warm breath brushing against her sensitive skin behind her ear, sending a tickle down her neck. His large hand enveloped hers, guiding her to adjust her grip on the golf club.

Pressed against Lysander's muscular, warm chest, Thalassa could feel the rise and fall of his breath, making her own breathing heavy and her heart erratic.

With his arms encircling her, teaching her the stance for a golf swing, they looked intimate and suggestive from afar.

Moments ago, Susan had been mocking Thalassa, but the sight before her left her wide-eyed in shock. Jealousy and resentment made her breathing erratic, and she fixated her gaze on the pair wrapped up in each other, grinding her teeth in silent fury.

Lucy was equally stunned by the scene, her previous confidence frozen in place.

Ethan sipped his juice, chuckling, "All that set-up, I knew Lysander had something up his sleeve."

Meanwhile, Thalassa was blissfully unaware of the envious stares and hostile glares directed her way.

Lysander's formidable presence enveloped her, making her breath feel almost involuntary.

Once he had positioned her correctly and she had a firm hold on the club, Lysander's velvety voice whispered in her ear, "Swing it like this—quick, accurate, and precise, one good shot."

After sharing his secret, Lysander stepped back, his penetrating gaze fixed on Thalassa.

As the heat from his body receded, and his dominant aura retreated, Thalassa's consciousness snapped back into place, her heartbeat normalized, and her breathing steadied.

Thalassa had dared to challenge Susan with golf—a game she was not adept at—confident that Lysander would step in when it mattered. Her earlier conversation had hinted at Lysander being her coach, and he had just given her a private lesson.

If she had lost, how embarrassing it would have been for Lysander as her coach? To salvage his pride, he wouldn't have let her lose.

The outcome was a bet well won.

"What? Lysander is your coach?" Susan was dumbfounded, her disbelief ping-ponging between Thalassa and Lysander, recalling Thalassa's earlier insinuations about her 'extraordinary' coach while she had scoffed and taunted.

Damn, she had lost to Thalassa and had managed to offend Lysander!

Susan felt like she was on the verge of a breakdown.
