The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 86

Isaac showed up here out of nowhere.

He should have just left work. He was dressed in a grey shirt, elegant and noble, with his coat hanging on his shoulders, and his expression was indifferent.

He helped Brittany tidy up the house, but he found out that Brittany was still at the hospital, entangled with Finn.

A flash of anger darted through his eyes.

Brittany saw him coming, her eyes lighting up, "Isaac."

"Are you feeling sorry for him now that he's fainted?"

Isaac glanced at Finn being carted off by the nurses, swearing to himself that if Brittany showed even a shred of sympathy for Finn, he'd be done with her forever!

"No." Brittany shook her head, "Just a bit shocked seeing him throwing up blood."

Isaac studied her carefully, seeing no signs of lying. He finally let his guard down a bit, "You're already up and about after just waking up?"

"He was too noisy."

Brittany was firm, clearly finding Finn annoying.

Isaac was happy. He scooped up Brittany, heading towards the bed, with Hannah trailing behind.

He looked at her, "Ms. Chester, don't you need to go home?"

Hannah was taken aback.

Brittany's awake, and she's being kicked out?

Meeting Isaac's gaze, Hannah said, "I'll go right away."

She rushed back to the room, grabbed her stuff, then turned to Brittany in Isaac's arms, "Brittany, Mr. Salter's here, so I'll head out. I'll come to see you tomorrow."

"Okay."

Before Brittany could say more, Hannah was already on her way out. She didn't dare to look back.

Brittany felt that Hannah was a bit afraid of Isaac, but she didn't see anything scary about him.

Back in bed, Isaac put down his coat, his eyes fixed on Brittany.

"Isaac, thank you for saving me."

Isaac withdrew his hand, "I'll eat my friend's share."

Brittany had no objections, "Alright, once I recover, I'll cook up a feast. How's that?"

Isaac had missed her home-cooked meals for some time. He was actually quite nostalgic about it.

"Do what you want."

Brittany had been in the hospital for three days. Isaac was swamped with work and could only visit morning and night.

Kari visited, too, relieved to see her unharmed. Brittany was satisfied with Kari's performance in the competition and planned to give Kari an opportunity when launching new products after being discharged.

Most of the time, Hannah was in the hospital.

"Hannah, don't you have work?"

Brittany looked at Hannah comfortably lounging on the sofa, munching on fruits and watching TV, a bit puzzled.

She had complained about work stress many times before, but how come she could afford to hang around here these days?

Hearing this, Hannah put down the apple in her hand.
