"Kari? Where's Brittany?"
After looking around and not finding Brittany, Hannah asked Kari.
Kari remembered Brittany's instruction, but the contest was about to start, she hesitated, "Hannah, come over here with me."
Hannah sensed this must be serious.
She quickly followed Kari to a quiet spot, her smile froze, "Just tell me, is Brittany in trouble?"
"She took a call and then left. Brittany left in a hurry, just said she had something to take care of and if she wasn't back within an hour, I need to tell you to ask for help."
"What call?"
"I don't know." Kari shook her head, she really didn't know, "I only heard her agreeing to go somewhere."
"I know who's behind this."
Hannah walked straight to the backstage, kicked open the dressing room door, scaring Patrina who was changing!
"Hannah, how could you?"
So rude, just barging in like that?
Hannah grabbed Patrina by the collar, "Where's Brittany?"
Patrina struggled, but hearing that, she laughed, "You're looking for Brittany?"
"So it was you guys? Hiding her before the competition." Hannah figured out the Dustin family were no good, they must have proposed an irresistible offer to Brittany, forcing her to take the risk.
"So what if it was?"
"Hannah, I'm not telling you where Brittany is, she won't be back."
At least not before the end of the competition.
Dustin Manor was already dilapidated and remote, and, her people were about to leave!
Hannah was furious, she kicked Patrina, "Patrina, you better pray Brittany is safe, or else, you'll see--"
Hannah didn't have time to argue with Patrina, she left the dressing room.
Kari was waiting outside, "Hannah, we're up next and Brittany still isn't back--"
Kari was worried, they had finally made it to the semi-finals and now Brittany was gone, all their hard work could be for nothing!
"Nathan, could you contact Mr. Salter for me? Bri is missing, I suspect she might have been taken by the Dustin family--"
Hannah explained the situation in detail to Nathan and Nathan immediately said he would help.
"Alright, Ms. Chester, you should also find someone to help look for her as soon as possible, I'll inform Mr. Salter right away."
After hanging up, Nathan went into Isaac's office and quietly informed him of the situation.
"Mr. Salter, Ms. Dustin is missing."
Isaac's expression turned serious immediately, "When did this happen?"
"Ms. Chester just called to tell me."
Isaac got up immediately, walked out of the office, took out his phone, and dialed Brittany's number.
"I'm sorry, the number you have dialed is switched off, please try again later..."
Hearing the message, Isaac's face darkened.
"Mr. Salter, I've already sent someone to investigate, and according to Ms. Chester's description, the situation might not be good--"
