As soon as Hannah saw Elmo, she pointed him out, saying, "That's him."
Patrina clearly didn't respect Isaac and let out a light chuckle.
On the other hand, Sydney's face turned pale immediately. Almost instinctively, she stood up and called out, "Isaac."
When she realized that Isaac didn't notice her, she immediately shut her mouth and stiffly sat back down.
Elmo had no idea what he did wrong, wearing a smug expression. "So, you're the good-looking husband? Too bad, you rely too much on women."
"I suggest you leave her. She's already agreed to marry me," he continued.
Upon hearing this, Brittany Dustin couldn't help but curse inwardly and quickly stepped out of Isaac's embrace. "No, Zakky, I didn't agree to that."
"Your eyes might have been blurry before, but now you should be able to see clearly," Isaac's words were clearly aimed at Brittany, who had once fallen for Finn.
Brittany felt the sting of Isaac's sarcasm once again and awkwardly cleared her throat. Although it was true, it still hurt to hear.
Elmo was still swearing loudly.
He even wanted to hit Isaac with his hands. "Stop."
The commotion caught Wesley's attention, and the moment Elmo saw him, all his anger dissipated.
"Mr. Tueley, what are you doing here?"
"Who are you?"
"I'm Elmo from the Engineering Department at Tueley Corporation," Elmo didn't expect to encounter Wesley here and nervously introduced himself.
Wesley only glanced at Elmo. "Next Monday, go to the HR department and arrange your resignation."
Elmo's expression immediately changed. "Mr. Tueley—"
"Tueley Corporation doesn't need ordinary yet overly confident men."
Wesley knew that Isaac couldn't handle this, so he took matters into his own hands.
Elmo wanted to say something more, but Wesley coldly interrupted him. "If you say one more word, you'll be out of Imperial City."
Knowing Wesley's temperament, Elmo immediately shut up.
Patrina, inside the private room, clenched her dress hem in frustration.
After dealing with Elmo, Wesley looked at Brittany. "Ms. Dustin."
"Do you know each other?"
Isaac looked at Brittany, evidently surprised that they were acquainted.
Hannah didn't hold back either. "Then let's eat in the main hall."
Since they were already here, they shouldn't miss this opportunity.
"Sure."
They chose their seats in the main hall, ordered some favorite dishes, and the conversation flowed warmly.
...
Isaac and Wesley entered the private room one after the other, and William hadn't arrived yet.
"You already knew about Brittany's identity?"
Isaac poured himself a glass of lemonade and looked at Wesley, suspecting that his investment in Brittany wasn't entirely pure.
"I can swear to the heavens that I only found out about your relationship at the Dustin family's dinner party," Wesley immediately shook his head. "I invested because Brittany is very talented."
A hint of curiosity flashed in Isaac's eyes as he sipped the lemonade.
Wesley was a curious person and always liked to observe people's reactions. "Aren't you curious if Brittany can succeed in her business?"
"Do you care?"
