The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 575

Ms. Dustin found it kinda weird, but didn't pry any further. "If that's the case, I hope your dad can find his true love."

Daniel's tiny voice echoed in her arms, "Mommy's back."

...

The heavy rain suddenly stopped in the wee hours.

Holding Daniel, Brittany Dustin fell asleep without realizing it; William Dillion couldn't help but feel at peace seeing them sleeping together.

He stepped forward, tucked them in, and then headed back to the guest room.

The next morning.

The film crew called, hoping to find Blue Diamond.

Brittany agreed.

William wanted to drop her off at the set after breakfast, but he received a call from the Dillion family. There was a problem with a recent project. The higher-ups refused to compromise on this, so it required him to step in personally.

"William, you should go." Brittany could see how he’s stuck in the middle, "You can't put off business matters."

William gently squeezed her hand, said goodbye to Daniel, then turned and left.

Eight o'clock.

Daniel went to kindergarten with the nanny, and Brittany drove back to her previous apartment.

Just got to the fifth floor, the door across opened.

"Ms. Dustin?"

Still the same neighbor five years ago.

"You're back?" The person was visibly delighted, "I thought you and Mr. Salter had moved out and didn't expect you'd be back... Oh, Mr. Salter did spend quite a chunk to buy this apartment."

Isaac Salter bought this apartment?

That made sense. For the Salter family, an apartment was no biggie.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to intrude, I was just looking for..."

Isaac strode up to her, his eyes filled with pain. He reached out and embraced her, "I've been waiting for you."

His voice was choked.

Brittany instinctively resisted, "Isaac, let go of me!"

Isaac locked her hands above her head, "Don't move."

He was so strong that he left an eye-piercing red mark on Brittany’s wrists when he pinched them.

Brittany frowned in pain, "Isaac, what the hell is wrong with you?"

She shouldn’t have come if she knew!

Isaac gripped her waist, sniffing her scent like a madman, "I'm not mad, I just miss you. Can I hold you?"
