"Cough, cough, cough--"
Brittany choked, and Kari patted her back with a mischievous smile, "Looks like, I guessed right."
Brittany put down her water glass and wiped her mouth with a tissue, her face turning red, "No, it's not."
A date? She just wanted to treat Isaac to a meal, that was all!
Isaac had helped her so many times, and she wanted to return the favor.
Kari looked at her blushing face, "You know, the more you try to hide it, the more obvious it is."
Brittany cleared her throat and glared at Kari, "Just focus on your drawing."
Kari laughed off the reprimand, "Then you just focus on your date."
She knew Brittany broke up with Finn. It was about time she left that jerk. Brittany was so awesome. How could she not find a better boyfriend?
Brittany was helpless, "We're really not dating."
"He's helped me a lot, I just want to treat him to a meal."
Kari had a "you don't have to explain, I get it" look on her face, and Brittany just gave a bitter smile.
Forget it, let's just not explain.
Brittany left the studio and called Isaac. He picked up, and his deep voice came through, "Hello."
"Zakky, I've booked a restaurant for tonight. Let's have dinner together. I've sent you the address, do you need me to pick you up?"
Grandeur Capital.
The large meeting room fell silent, all eyes on Isaac.
Isaac raised his hand, signaling everyone to shut up. He got up and walked out of the room, and the executives didn't dare to make a sound.
Some bold staff looked at Nathan, making faces, obviously asking with their expressions whom Mr. Salter was talking to?
Isaac was known to be a workaholic and never answered phone calls during meetings.
What was going on now? Why the sudden change?
Nathan didn't need to guess to know it was Brittany's call, but he didn't dare say anything.
Isaac didn't notice the change in Nathan's eyes and quickly left. Nathan stood behind, looking up at the sky. For some reason, he felt that Mr. Salter was really falling into this relationship.
Brittany arrived at the restaurant, ordered a drink, chose a seat by the window, and waited for Isaac.
She was engrossed in an e-magazine on her phone. After about half an hour, there was a commotion outside.
A black car pulled up, the door opened, and the man who got out was handsome and aristocratic. He had probably just gotten off work, his tie was loose, and two buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing an area of skin.
His wristwatch was replaced by a cheap one, but it still couldn't cover his natural elegance. He walked into the restaurant, instantly attracting many eyes.
His good looks would be eye-catching even in the entertainment industry, some people even wanted to go up and ask for his contact information.
Hearing the commotion, Brittany put down her phone and waved at Isaac, "Zakky, over here."
Isaac paused, then walked over to Brittany.
The lady who wanted to flirt sighed regretfully. Such a handsome man, what a pity, he already had a date.
Isaac pulled out a chair and sat down, looking at Brittany, "Sorry, I was working late, I'm a bit late."
He had tried to get here as soon as possible, but work was busy.
