The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 530

She swallowed hard and then said, "Brittany, I'm warning you, you better watch your back!"

With that, Joie stormed off, slamming the door behind her.

Brittany watched her go, a glint of gloom flitting across her eyes.

Joie's only lifeline was the Salter family. Without their favor, she was nothing.

Brittany wasn't the type to just take things lying down. How could she just swallow this resentment?

After work, Brittany got a message from William saying he was home. He told her to get some rest and that they would meet up tomorrow.

She agreed, then called Hannah.

"Hannah, wanna hang out tonight?"

"Sure! I have a friend who just opened a bar. You up for it?" Hannah was eager to spend more time with Brittany.

Brittany agreed.

When it was time, Brittany showed up at the bar.

Hannah was already there. Seeing Brittany, she immediately dragged her inside, "This is my friend's bar. It's pretty swanky. They have a fashion show every night."

Hannah was a seasoned party animal, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Brittany gave a soft chuckle. She couldn't care less about the fashion show. She just wanted to chat with Hannah.

They found a quiet corner and sat down. Hannah ordered her a fruity cocktail. It was sweet and sour but packed quite a punch.

"Bri, take it easy on the drink. It's strong."

Brittany's tolerance had grown over the years, and she said, "Got it."

The two of them were quite a sight, attracting plenty of male attention. There were more than a few attempts to chat them up.

Neither of them was in the mood for company, so they politely declined.

"So I heard Isaac gave you a hard time last night?"

Hannah was surprised that Isaac was still making Brittany's life miserable. What was his deal?

He didn't appreciate Brittany five years ago, so why was he bothering her now?

"Yeah."

James slapped Hannah hard and said, "Shut up, Hannah! Don't forget your brother is in business with us."

Hannah was speechless with anger.

Brittany narrowed her eyes, watching James. She picked up her glass, her eyes twinkling with mischief, looking like a seductive siren in the night. She whispered, "James, are you sure you want to spend the night with me?"

James laughed, "Of course."

No matter how bad Brittany's reputation was, she was once the publicly acknowledged wife of Isaac... If he could have her, wouldn't that mean he'd beaten Isaac?

Brittany looked up at him, her gaze sultry.

James swallowed hard, leaning towards her and saying, "As long as you're with me, I might even consider marrying you."

Of course, he was lying.

Who would marry a woman with a bad reputation?

Brittany's expression suddenly changed. She grabbed a bottle and smashed it over James' head.

Blood immediately splattered everywhere.
