With a sulky look, Daniel said, "I don't know."
He didn't have his dad's contact information; he had always been living with Granny Emily.
Brittany felt even worse for Daniel, gently pinching his cheek, "You can't just run out of the house, got it?"
Daniel pouted, "But I wanted to see you."
Brittany's heart melted. She held his face and gave him a little kiss, laughing, "Next time, you need to get your dad's contact information. I can contact him for you; or, you can tell your dad that you want to come to see me, okay?"
Daniel obediently nodded. When he arrived, it was so hot that he was drenched in sweat; his little face was sunburned.
Brittany didn't have any kids' clothes, so she asked room service to bring a set.
When Daniel finished his yogurt, she reached out and said, "Daniel, let's go take a bath, okay?"
Daniel instantly blushed; his eyes seemed to freeze.
The next second, he immediately shook his head, "No way, Granny Emily said that boys and girls are different; you can't bathe me."
Brittany chuckled, "Then how do you bathe at home?"
"Granny Emily helped me before." Daniel stuttered, "Then I learned to bathe myself."
He was a big kid then; he could bathe by himself.
Brittany picked him up, brought him to the bathroom, filled up half the bathtub with water, adjusted the temperature, "Then you bathe yourself; I'll be outside the door. If you need anything, just call me, okay?"
Daniel obediently nodded, kissing Brittany on the cheek, "You smell nice."
Brittany blushed.
She got up, closed the door, and let Daniel bathe himself. Meanwhile, she opened the fridge, took out some coffee beans, made a cup of coffee, took a few sips, and started thinking about Shona.
“Their engagement party should have gone smoothly, right? But why was Isaac so eager to get engaged but hasn't married her yet?” she thought.
Brittany opened her laptop, her fingers tapping on the keyboard, and then the news caught her eye.

Daniel's eyes slightly curved. He kissed Brittany, then crawled under the covers, all smiles, "Goodnight, mom."
Brittany looked at his smooth little face and couldn't help but think of her child in the past, feeling a wave of sorrow, "Goodnight."
Daniel played for a while and quickly fell asleep.
Brittany got up, went to her desk, and continued to work, but her mind was filled with images of the gravesite and that familiar name.
...
Radiant Residences.
Emily wasn't paying attention, and Daniel ran off again. She didn't dare tell Isaac, so she contacted Grace instead.
When Grace heard the news, she almost fainted.
The whole family searched the entire Imperial City but couldn't find Daniel. Grace's high blood pressure was about to act up, so she lay in bed, shaking all over.
Joie was hoping for something bad to happen to Daniel outside, so she would have a chance.
