The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 496

After moving abroad, Brittany managed to reconnect with Randell Moore.

She only then learned that after Randell had returned to Wall Street, he got caught in a trap set by a competitor. It took him almost two to three months to overcome the problem.

On the eve of his return home, he learned that Brittany was in trouble, so his feud with Isaac hadn't stopped.

In Imperial City, Randell bought several properties for her, but she didn't want to move in.

So, she opted for a five-star hotel.

After checking in, Brittany went to the bathroom. Daniel's face flashed in her mind as the warm water washed over her, filling her with sadness.

If the accident hadn't happened to her child years ago, he would've grown up by now.

Brittany came out of the bathroom an hour later and called William Dillion.

"Bri, are you in Imperial City yet?"

"Yes, I've already been to the hospital."

William was the first person Brittany saw when she woke up from the shipwreck.

William took her abroad, exhausting all his resources to save her life.

In the past five years, he had been by her side.

It was hard for Brittany to say she didn't have feelings for William, but how much of it was out of liking, she couldn't tell.

But she understood that she would be more forward with him once she finished dealing with matters at home.

After all these years, William was one of the most important people in her life.

"I'm abroad right now and can't help you. Be careful."

William wanted to ask if she had seen Isaac yet. But he didn’t say it out loud in the end.

After all, they were just friends now, and he had no right to pry into her business.

Brittany sensed his concern and smiled as she said, "William, take care of the studio. I'll be back as soon as I finish my business."

"Alright."

The two discussed some studio matters, and Brittany felt relaxed until the early morning hours.

"It's late, and you should get some rest."

"Okay, talk to you tomorrow."

Brittany hung up the phone and got into bed, and the soft bedding seemed to instantly relieve her travel fatigue.

"That means there's a chance you could be more in the future." Tanya was experienced.

Brittany wouldn't express it like she did if there was no possibility between Brittany and William.

Brittany stayed until the afternoon before leaving the hospital.

She went alone to the cemetery, a place she and Isaac had visited once before.

Perhaps sensing her low spirits, the driver barely spoke to her on the way.

Upon reaching the cemetery, Brittany bought some sunflowers and toys and then went in alone.

Walking the familiar path, Brittany didn't find Kyle's tombstone.

Brittany turned around, quickly left the cemetery, rushed into the security office, and asked, "Where's my son's grave?"

The security guard was startled by her pale face, "Which tombstone?"

"Kyle's."

The guard flipped through a register, looked at Brittany with sympathy, and then gave a despairing answer.

"Kyle's tomb was removed five years ago."
