"Isaac..." Shona was left behind, gripped by panic.
She was pissed off. Did he have no sense of teamwork at all?
After she was left there alone, how were they supposed to continue their partnership?
Brittany was gone. The thought filled Isaac's mind. He didn't even care about the stares from the crowd; he left the dinner party and sprinted straight for the private hospital.
In the pitch-black night, Isaac arrived at the hospital.
The moment he stepped in, Hannah slapped him across the face. "This is all your fault; do you know that? Bri is in this situation because of you."
Isaac grabbed Hannah by the throat and pinned her against the wall, his eyes filled with rage, as if he wanted to rip her to shreds. "Hannah, I warned you to stay out of our business!"
Brittany had already forgiven him; why was Hannah there?
Laughing through her tears, Hannah taunted him, "Isaac, you really thought you could hide it from her?"
"What are you talking about?"
Seeing the hatred and mockery in her eyes, Isaac felt a pang of unease.
"Bri has known for a while." Hannah seemed to be taking revenge, shouting out loud, "She knew about your engagement with Shona."
Isaac's face was drained of color. He hadn't expected that, despite his best efforts to keep it a secret, Brittany had found out.
"Did you tell her?" Isaac's face hardened, his eyes burning with anger.
Still laughing, Hannah said, "Isaac, you thought you were so clever? Let me tell you, Brittany doesn't love you anymore. The reason she's been warming up to you these past few days is because she wanted to leave..."
"Shut up!"
Isaac seemed to lose all reason; he wanted to strangle Hannah, who didn't struggle, tears streaming down her face.
"Isaac, this is karma! You deceived her so badly, you harmed her child, and you're going to marry another woman; do you think she would ever forgive you?"
Isaac tightened his grip, and Hannah couldn't continue speaking due to a lack of breath. She clung to her clothes but didn't beg for mercy.
"Zac, let go!"
"You can't even look after one person; what kind of bodyguards are you?"
Isaac personally punished the bodyguards. Nathan didn't dare to intervene.
Hannah pushed Derek away, her face filled with disgust. "Derek, what role did you play in all of this?"
Derek was at a loss for words.
Hannah left the hospital; she managed to get in touch with Lionel outside, but Brittany's whereabouts remained unknown.
...
Meanwhile, in a speeding black sedan, Brittany's hands were tightly bound.
The person sitting in the back seat was Leda, her gaze gentle, still maintaining her elegance and class. "Long time no see, Ms. Dustin."
"Why is it you?"
Wasn't this the car that the Chester family arranged?
