The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 393

First off, Brittany's design skills gave her the confidence to vouch for quality and rub elbows with the well-heeled ladies.

On top of that, she'd gotten pretty buddy-buddy with them, helping Brittany score major brownie points.

But Brittany was totally oblivious to all this.

Back at the apartment, after Brittany had freshened up, Isaac was sitting on the bed with a bottle of essential oils in his hand. "Come here," he says.

Brittany walked over, and he lifted up her shirt, revealing her belly.

He poured out the oil, warmed it up in his hands, and rubbed it on her belly. "This is some fancy essential oil I had someone bring in. Use it three times a day, and it’ll keep the stretch marks at bay."

The pursuit of beauty was just human nature.

This essential oil was his personal mix, and it worked like a charm.

Brittany took a whiff of the oil; it was a light fruity scent mixed with a hint of greasy aroma, kinda like her usual body wash.

"You do it."

Brittany flashed a flirty smile. She just loved watching Isaac run around doing things for her!

"Sure."

Isaac carefully applied the oil, helped her get dressed, and even dried her hair before they finally hit the sack.

Brittany felt a bit bummed out about not seeing Kemp.

Isaac was planning to have someone introduce them the next day, but little did he know, first thing in the morning, Brittany got a call as soon as she got out of bed. It was the lady she saved yesterday, calling to thank her.

The lady kept thanking her, but Brittany brushed it off.

As Isaac came out with breakfast, Brittany wrapped up the call and filled him in on what happened last night.

"You're pregnant, and you're giving someone CPR?"

Isaac looked pissed.

Brittany quickly reassured him, "I only did it for a few minutes, then my secretary took over..."

Brittany knew he was worried about her, so she got up and did a little spin in front of him. "Look at me; I’m totally fine. Don't worry."

Isaac was still a bit freaked out though. "I've booked a doctor's appointment for this weekend. We're going."

It was not like she was strapped for cash.

Given that the lady was at the party, it's clear she was no ordinary woman.

She was generous, no doubt about it.

But Brittany didn't save her for the money.

Seeing that Brittany won't accept it, the lady had no choice but to take the check back. Then, she left.

Before heading out, she gave Brittany a serious look and said a heartfelt "Thank you."

Brittany didn’t really get it, and after seeing the lady off, she got back to work.

After leaving the building, the lady headed straight for a black car parked on the street.

Upon entering the car, Kemp looked at her, "So?"

"I've sounded her out, and she has no clue who I am." Mrs. Wilson breathed a sigh of relief. "I've had a chat with her, and she’s very decent in both speech and behavior.

The company's size is just right; I took a good look around. The whole company's exterior is quite impressive." Mrs. Wilson seemed satisfied. "Does she want the plot of land in the west of the city? If so, could you give her a hand?"
