The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 376

Hannah felt helpless.

This wasn't Brittany spending money. It was clearly Isaac showing off his wealth.

After they left the hospital, Brittany insisted on going to the company, and Isaac had no choice but to go along with it.

Isaac handed her a cup and said, "Don't worry too much. I heard the Dillion family has got the best medical team. William will definitely get better."

Brittany took a sip of water.

How could she not worry?

William's injury felt like a huge rock pressing on her heart, making it hard for her to breathe.

Upon arriving at the Dustin Group, Isaac watched her leave.

Then, Nathan called, "Mr. Salter, the medical team has taken over Mr. Dillion's treatment, and his condition is pretty stable right now."

"Okay, keep an eye on the Field family too."

After hanging up, Isaac drove straight to Grandeur Capital.

...

The secretary was surprised at Brittany’s quick recovery and quickly went to greet her, "Ms. Dustin, Mr. Field has asked for a meeting several times these past few days. Would you like to see him?"

Jason?

A sarcastic smile flickered in Brittany's eyes.

"No need."

She didn't want to see Jason; she was afraid she might do something irreversible, like hurting Jason.

She refused to see Jason, but Jason barged into her office with his crew.

Seeing Brittany unscathed, Jason snickered, "Ms. Dustin, you're recovering well, aren't you?"

Brittany clenched her fists, faking a smile and saying, "Mr. Field, thanks for your concern. I’m doing fine."

"What a shame, Mr. Dillion took a hit for you."

Jason never thought that William would risk his life for Brittany.

"Mr. Field, watch your step." Brittany knew Jason was here to gloat, "If I catch you slipping, you'll pay."

And she was pregnant.

Timothy said with his back to her, "Brittany, my son is like this because of you. You should know better than anyone how much he likes you! If he were fine now, do you think I would accept you?"

With William losing his legs, which high society lady would be willing to marry him?

So, Brittany became the best choice. Only the child she was carrying was a problem.

"Mr. Dillion, I can agree to anything but this."

Brittany understood that gratitude and liking were not the same.

She didn't like William, she had never considered marrying him before, and now it was impossible!

Timothy laughed coldly. "I'll give you some time to think it over. Brittany, don't push me."

Timothy glanced meaningfully at Brittany's belly, and Brittany instinctively stepped back.

"Mr. Dillion, do you really need to push me like this? I can repay you in other ways."

"Does the Dillion family lack money?" Timothy interrupted her, "My son lacks nothing. He just likes you. For you, his life has changed. How can you say that? Brittany, think about it, without my son, would you still be alive now?"
