Brittany began to feel a bit of emotional change in herself, but she couldn't control it.
Her hormones were going crazy, making every little thing seem like a big deal.
After what seemed like a long time, Brittany seemed to give up the struggle against sleepiness, sinking into the soft bedding and finally slipping into a deep slumber.
Isaac came back from the diner, pushing the door open.
Brittany was already asleep.
She'd ditched the fancy dress for a simple hospital gown, which oddly made her look even slimmer. Her cheeks were all rosy, and her long, curled lashes were like a net, totally captivating.
Isaac watched her sleep peacefully, then looked at the food in his hand, letting out a helpless chuckle.
He put the food on the bedside table and picked up the clothes Nathan had brought.
Hearing that Brittany was back in the hospital, Grace really wanted to come over, but Isaac stopped her.
"Granny, you should stay at home. Bri's fine, she'll be home tomorrow."
It was late and Grace coming over wasn't good for her health.
"Plus, Bri's sleeping, you coming would just wake her."
Hearing that Brittany was asleep, Grace let go of the idea of coming over, "Alright, you take good care of her."
Isaac went into the bathroom and got washed up.
Then, the doorbell rang.
"Mr. Salter, I just received the news, Noel has run away."
He ran away?
Isaac's hand, which was drying his hair, froze, the next second, he shut the door, "go on."
"We've received word that Noel graduated early half a month ago. He told the Dillion family he was going on a graduation trip, but during the trip, he just disappeared..."
Isaac clenched his towel tightly, "and?"
"No clue where he is."
"Find him!"
"If you hadn't spoiled him, giving him the guts to act recklessly, he wouldn't have taken off!"
Isaac said coldly, "Grandpa, if Noel doesn't show up in front of me in three months, I'll have to take matters into my own hands."
Old Mr. Evans knew about his methods.
He was worried that if Noel fell into Isaac's hands this time, he might be severely punished.
"Zac, he's your brother. Don't be too harsh."
Old Mr. Evans wanted to say something else, but Isaac cut him off, "Grandpa, Noel needs to be disciplined!"
After that, Isaac hung up the phone, "Tell Nathan, we're looking for Noel nationwide!"
Noel had always wanted to come back home, it's highly likely he's back in Imperial City.
"Roger that."
After the bodyguard left, Isaac took a deep breath, regained his composure, and pushed the door open.
Brittany seemed to hear the noise, looking over sleepily, "Zakky, where's my food?"
