Isaac bundled Brittany into the car, then drove her back to his apartment.
After being up all night and day, Brittany was wiped out. Isaac got her into the bathroom for a shower before tucking the nearly asleep Brittany into bed.
After taking care of all that, Isaac hit up Nathan.
"How's Hannah going?"
"It's Derek."
Nathan never saw it coming that Hannah would be with Derek and even have a kid.
"Ms. Chester hasn't spoken up yet, but the Chester family is already on the case."
No way this could be swept under the rug.
"Where's Derek?"
"He got smashed at the engagement party and hasn't woken up yet."
Derek was really into Loraine, all those years of standing guard, but it all amounted to nothing in the end.
"Got it."
Isaac hung up and went back to the bedroom, where Brittany was out cold.
He walked over, pulled back the blanket, and Brittany, sensing the warmth, snuggled up to him. This caught Isaac in the throat, but he managed to keep it in check.
The news of Hannah's pregnancy was, in the end, impossible to hide.
Blake hauled out the dash cam, threw it at Hannah's face, and fumed, "Are you with Derek?"
"Dad, I..."
Hannah's lips were trembling.
"Do you know what kind of person Derek is? He can even manipulate feelings. What were you thinking being with him?"
Hannah's eyes instantly reddened. She meant well, but she didn't expect this to happen after getting drunk.
"All right, she's already upset about this. Let's cut her some slack."
Tanya came to the bedside and comforted Hannah. "We'll keep this quiet. I've already contacted a doctor to arrange for the surgery. This baby can’t be kept."
Apart from her and Derek being nothing, she had taken medicine, so the baby couldn't be kept.
Hannah subconsciously covered her belly. She actually didn't like children very much, but now that she had one in her belly, she felt a bit reluctant.
After a long while, she finally said, "Okay."
Hannah's surgery was about to be performed.
The Bishop family got wind of it and rushed over.
Before they even entered the door, Lionel threw a punch at Derek. Derek knew he was in the wrong, so he didn't fight back.
The people of the Chester family watched coldly. Katelin Bishop also felt she didn't have the guts to speak.
Hannah's parents called off most of their work for Hannah. Now that they were busy with work, the couple left.
Lionel gave Derek a cold glare, then followed them out.
Katelin had a very good impression of Hannah. Although the baby couldn't be kept, it wasn't fair to Hannah.
"Hannah, we, the Bishop family, are sorry for what happened this time. After the surgery, whatever you want to do, I support you."
Then she glared at Derek. "Come here, apologize!"
This was the first time Derek had seen Hannah since the incident. Guilt, self-blame, and regret surged in his heart.
Hannah was Katelin's lifesaver, but he did such a thing, ruined Hannah's reputation, and even had to have this surgery.
"Hannah, I'm sorry. I will take responsibility for you. Whether you want to get engaged, get married, or call the police, I can accept it."
"All right, you can't take all the blame for this. This is a matter of two people."
Hannah knew in her heart that they both had drunk that night. Both of them were at fault.
Derek had already been beaten and apologized.
There was no need to keep not forgiving him because of this.
"If you really feel guilty, I hope you won't interfere with Loraine's affairs anymore."
Brittany was taken aback,"Hannah!"
