"Are you going home to see your grandma?" Brittany sat up from the bed, obviously still a bit sleepy.
Isaac came over, picked her up, and said, "Yup, my grandma said she wanted to see me. You focus on your work. I'll pick you up later."
Brittany yawned, "Then you should bring home those health supplements."
She had been ill before, and the Chester family had sent over a lot of health supplements, which she had not had time to use.
Isaac wanted to say that his grandma didn't really need them, but he didn't say it.
"Zakky, you don't go home often. Why don't you stay with your grandma for the night?"
Brittany had just returned to the studio and was very busy; she also had to deal with the issues from the Dustin family, so she really didn't have any spare time.
Isaac thought for a moment, "Will you be okay alone at home tonight?"
"It's no problem."
Brittany said softly, "I'm not a child. Go back and spend more time with your grandma; make sure she takes good care of herself. When I have time, I'll go visit her."
"Alright."
...
Salter Manor.
A black Rolls-Royce car stopped, and the door opened.
The butler quickly came forward.
Isaac got out of the car. His sharp eyes emanated a cold air and an intimidating aura.
"Has Manuel been here?"
His grandma rarely asked him to come back. Her calling him in the middle of the night was obviously very urgent.
The butler's face was a bit gloomy, "Manuel came last night and he's been kneeling in the yard all night. Grace was so angry that her blood pressure rose and she almost fainted."
What he didn't say was that what Manuel said was simply unacceptable!
Isaac probably guessed why Manuel was here and walked into the yard.
Something obviously happened in the yard since Manuel was kneeling there, looking somewhat tired.
Manuel's face turned cold upon seeing that Isaac was back, "You're finally back?"
Grace sighed, "He…"
She was heartbroken over her son, Manuel.
He didn't want to have a good family but instead chose to mess around.
He didn't care for his own children but cared for an illegitimate son with a disability, even cutting ties with her for that disabled illegitimate son!
"Is it about Marcel's engagement?"
Marcel was about to get engaged, so Manuel wholeheartedly hoped he could become part of the Salter family and even join Grandeur Capital, but he knew Isaac wouldn't easily compromise.
So he turned to Grace.
However, was Grace so easily persuaded?
"Except for his disabled son, what else is worth him coming to our home?" Grace didn't understand where Isaac was lacking compared to Marcel and why Manuel treated Isaac, whom she had raised herself, this way.
"He's not disabled."
Manuel had just walked in the door when he heard his son being slandered, causing his face to turn extremely ugly.
