The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 159

Dr. Eric felt a pang of regret that Brittany, her own granddaughter, wasn't a match. She had no choice but to pin his hopes on others.

"Sure, I'll get in touch as soon as I can."

Brittany, suppressing her impatience, contacted Robert. He picked up quickly. "Bri, what's got into you to call me?"

Robert was pleasantly surprised that Brittany would take the initiative to contact him.

"Grandma's in the hospital with kidney failure. Can you come to the hospital for a match test?" Brittany cut straight to the chase. "I'm willing to pay if you're willing to come."

Robert was taken aback that Donna Dustin had fallen ill. He was about to agree when he had a change of heart.

If Brittany cared so much about Donna Dustin that she was willing to compromise, how could he pass up such a golden opportunity?

"Bri, I wouldn't just stand by when Donna's in the hospital. I can get tested; even Patty can. But,"

Brittany knew there was a catch. "How much do you want?"

As long as he agreed to get tested, she was willing to pay as much as she could afford.

"I don't want money; I want you to come back."

"What do you mean?"

Brittany's tone was cool; she didn't expect Robert to be so audacious.

"Bri, I know I wronged you in the past, but the Dustin family would be all yours if you came back. I promise to make it up to you."

"The Dustin family?"

Brittany snorted. The Dustin family was on the decline; why would she want to inherit that?

Robert, however, thought she was interested. "Bri, come back. Merge your studio with the Dustin family’s assets. I can put it in my will that everything will be yours. How about it? Do you like Finn? I can play matchmaker; he's really into you."

The Dustin family had no one else to rely on; Brittany was their only hope.

"I won't go back; I have no interest in the Dustin family." Brittany rejected coldly. "Grandma isn't just mine; don't forget, she was the one who raised you. If you're not going to get tested, I won't force you, but good luck sleeping at night."

He'd contacted all the major hospitals, and as soon as a suitable person was found, they would arrange for Donna Dustin to get treatment. But he was worried, considering Donna's current health, whether she could withstand such a draining operation.

Brittany appreciated Isaac's kindness. It was because of him that she managed to keep her sanity.

She reached out and wrapped her arms around his waist, carefully avoiding his wound. "Zakky, thank you for helping me."

Isaac wasn't looking for a thank you. His hand held the back of her head, "I prefer actual rewards over verbal thanks."

Brittany stood on her tiptoes, letting him kiss her. He seemed very satisfied.

He lifted her onto a nearby table with her legs wrapped around his waist. His hand began to explore the area under her clothes.

But the next second, there was a knock at the door.

"Mr. Salter, it's time for your medication."

Before Isaac could respond, the door was pushed open. Seeing the entangled couple, the doctor closed the door and retreated.
