"Sherry?"
Brittany was taken aback to see Sherry, who was supposed to be studying abroad, had come back early. It seemed that the Boulton family's financial situation was indeed dire, even Sherry had been called back.
Sherry has always been at odds with Brittany, and now she despised Brittany even more: "I can't believe how much your taste has gone downhill."
"You can't snag Finn, so you've resorted to keeping a man?"
Right after returning to the country, Sherry heard that Brittany's jewelry studio was booming, and it was the talk of the town.
She heard Brittany was coming for a meal, deliberately stole her private room, just to humiliate her. Finn had already apologized, but Brittany still wouldn't forgive him. What was there to be so haughty about?
"Ms. Boulton."
The receptionist's attitude immediately became respectful, "Your private room is ready. Would you like to use it now?"
"This is outrageous, we reserved the room in advance, why wouldn't you hold it for us?" Kari was red in the face with anger. This was clearly intentional.
The receptionist sneered, "This is Trattoria del Mare, not everyone can dine here."
Sherry lifted her chin proudly, "Brittany, there's a snack stall nearby that might be more your speed. You can go there now."
Brittany was furious, finding it both funny and ironic.
Grace glared at Sherry, her eyes radiating displeasure. It seemed that the lesson given to the Boulton family wasn't enough, even a little girl was getting cocky.
Kari knew Sherry was hard to deal with, but seeing Brittany being publicly humiliated was too much: "Brittany, let's go."
They could skip this meal.
Brittany wasn't willing to back down, "We're eating here."
Isaac suddenly interjected, looking at the receptionist, "What's your name?"
The receptionist smirked arrogantly, "A man who leeches off a woman has the nerve to ask my name?"
As Sherry said, he was just a man who lived off a woman, nothing to be scared of.
"Shut up!"
Brittany stepped forward quickly, grabbing the receptionist by the collar, her gaze icy, "I don't mind if you pick on me, but if you dare speak ill of my husband again, you'll regret it!"
The receptionist was trembling all over.
Sherry laughed, "Brittany, he is just a man living off a woman. Why can't I speak ill of him?"
Isaac didn't expect Brittany to lose her temper. From the time he met her, she had always been protective of him.
The argument continued.
"We did.”
Sherry and Kari spoke up at the same time. Sherry proudly raised her chin, "I'm Sherry, the daughter of the Boulton family!"
Who in Imperial City would dare not respect the Boulton family?
Brittany would be kicked out soon!
"Are you Ms. Dustin?"
Sherry was totally ignored.
The manager went straight to Brittany, his gaze gentle, "Ms. Dustin, your private room is ready, shall we?"
Brittany was a bit surprised, then she looked at Isaac, it seemed that once the manager came out, the room was available.
"Ms. Dustin, I am very sorry for the misunderstanding today. To show our sincerity, all dishes tonight will be 90% off."
The manager carefully said, Kari was stunned.
90% off? Brittany instantly perked up, it would be foolish not to take advantage of such a good deal!
"Granny, let's go."
