Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 45

Maybe it was because Hansen had locked Mia up, or because Naomi had found out Mia was moving out with Andre, she didn't pick a fight tonight.

"Everyone's here. Let's start eating," Hansen said, and people started eating.

There were over a dozen dishes on the table, but Mia only touched two in front of her.

One, she wasn't hungry; two, she wanted to keep a low profile, giving Naomi no excuse to pick a fight. She was leaving soon, and she really didn't want to argue with Naomi today.

Halfway through the meal, someone arrived at the front hall. Then, a few unfamiliar voices were heard.

"Hansen, are you home?" A clear voice reached everyone's ears.

More voices followed.

Hansen put down his fork, stood up, and said with a smile, "It's Conner and the guys."

"Conner?" Who's that?

Mia was surprised.

Hansen quickly went out to greet them. Mia glanced at Naomi, who was also looking at her.

Mia's heart started to race. Oh no, they were going to have another argument.

"What are you looking at? Go on out there," Despite Naomi's unfriendly tone, it was a reminder to Mia. "Conner, Mars, Asher, Teddy, they're all Andre's friends."

"Oh, okay."

Mia quickly put down her fork and rushed out. She accidentally knocked a chair, which wobbled and made a noise.

The voice was similar to the one she heard earlier, Mia knew he was Conner.

But how to distinguish the other three? One was Asher, one was Teddy, and what was the other one called?

Mia was trying hard to think.

Mars looked at Mia, who was pondering, and gently nudged Conner's shoulder, raising his eyebrows playfully and whispering, "Do you think that girl is Andre's new wife?"

Conner's gaze swept behind Hansen as well, stopping at Mia. He whispered to Mars, "Doesn't look like it. She seems to be a student. How could a student get married?"

Hansen was standing close to them, he coughed awkwardly, then turned around and gently said to Mia, "Mia, come here, let me introduce you."

Mia immediately stepped forward and obediently stood next to Hansen. Her obedience made Hansen very pleased.
