So, he was Sean Lennon.
He was Willow’s crippled husband.
However, he was also saying he was the owner of Greene Hotel?
Was that true?
Greene Hotel might not be as good as Riverleaf Lakeside Hotel in terms of class and commercial value.
However, the hotel was still worth a lot of money!
One would have to be extremely wealthy to operate a hotel like this.
The look in everyone’s eyes began changing slowly.
Ellen’s lips moved, but she was rendered momentarily speechless as well.
“Why are you boasting?
“This hotel belongs to a friend of mine.”
“You, the owner? Who do you think you’re fooling?”
Finn had a disdainful and hateful expression on his face as he slowly got to his feet.
He already had a girlfriend, but would anyone be able to resist trying to get on intimate terms with a girl as gorgeous as Willow was?
Thus, Sean had now become one of Finn’s love rivals.
“Hahaha, so it was a lie!
“Fion, is this your crippled son-in-law?
“Not only did he buy you fake branded goods, but he’s also lying to us.
“Thank goodness my son knows the owner of this place. If not, he would have fooled all of us.”
Ellen immediately perked up and gazed at Fion disdainfully.
Fion felt a blush creeping up her face.
Why was Sean bragging about such things?
The first thing he had done was to refer to himself as the owner of Greene Hotel.
That was not the least bit realistic.
“I bought it just now.”
Sean shook his head slowly before walking over to sit next to Willow.
“Tsk, my friend will be arriving soon.
“I’m interested to see how you’ll smooth things over later.”
Finn huffed, a disdainful look on his face.
He had put in a lot of effort in hosting today’s gathering.
The reason he had purposely chosen a place that his friend owned was so he could take advantage of the situation to show off his status.
He was curious as to how Sean would explain himself when his friend arrived later.
“Forget it, forget it. Youngsters enjoy fooling around. Let’s not make a big deal out of it.”
A middle-aged woman seated beside Fion waved a hand and tried to defuse the situation.
“Hmph! One should take stock of the situation before they make jokes. Not every joke is suitable for every occasion.
“He said he was the owner the minute he walked in. Why did you do that? Are you trying to impress us?”
Ellen huffed as she spoke sarcastically.
Sean looked like he was about to say something, but Willow reached over and grabbed him.
“Sean, don’t cause trouble…”
Willow knew that Sean was rich, but that did not mean he could say anything he liked!
“Alright. Let’s eat.”
Sean did not say anything more and instead picked up his cutlery.
“Hah, you look just like a country bumpkin.”
“Camford University? That’s such a famous university. Of course I’ve heard of it!”
“Well done. That is truly one of the best names out there!”
“No wonder you’re doing so well!”
Everyone nodded in agreement, and Ellen could not help but feel light-headed from it.
“Did the Union Kingdom’s Camford University open a Union States branch?”
“I’m learning something new.”
Sean’s statement caused the laughter to come to an abrupt halt.
What he had done was the equivalent of slapping Ellen across the face!
“Slam!”
Ellen slapped the table before she pointed at Sean.
“What do you mean by that?”
Ellen had an annoyed expression on her face.
“Um, Mrs. Turner, Camford University is in the Union Kingdom.
“It does not exist in the Union States.”
A glasses-wearing young man said softly.
“The Union States’ most prestigious university is Harton University.”
A long-haired girl smiled as she added.
“Y-You…”
Ellen’s face went red as she glanced at Finn awkwardly.
Finn was deeply embarrassed as well. There was no way he was qualified enough to attend Camford. He had just made that up.
He had not expected Ellen to flaunt that piece of information around.
