After all, it was a free profit out of nowhere, and it was so big.
After all, East World Hotel's net revenue was about 30 million to 40 million a year. What was the bonus for 20% of the shares?
Six to eight million!
That was a lot of money!
"Just take it when I give it to you!" Sean said earnestly.
Gabe nodded excitedly at this, "Alright, I see. I'll work hard for it, Commander!"
It was getting late, and Gabe quickly drove away and returned to his place.
Sean entered the hotel with Zander.
As soon as Sean entered the hotel lobby, he saw all the female attendants and male security guards forming two separate lines to greet him and Zander respectfully.
"Welcome back, Boss!"
The greeting in unison was novel to Sean and Zander.
Zander said to Sean with a chuckle, "Commander, you're the boss again."
"What do you mean 'again'?"
Sean glared at Zander, and Zander shut up.
A middle-aged woman in a black suit and skirt walked over with two slightly younger women.
"Boss, we received the news that you're the new chairman of East World Hotel. I am Cheryl Nelson—the hotel general manager, and these two are Melissa Ralph—the lobby manager, and Lucinda Ray—the back office manager. We are in charge of all the hotel's affairs. Do you have any plans, Boss?"
Sean coughed and said to the general manager, Cheryl, "Well, I have nothing planned. Just proceed with business as usual. By the way, send all the hotel's information to the office. I'll look through them later."
Sean was relieved to have someone like that running his hotel.
Of course, he did not attach much importance to East World Hotel in the first place. In Sean's opinion, East World Hotel was only a part of his properties, and it was just a foothold for him in Midwich.
"Alright. Do as you wish. You can handle all the hotel affairs however you want. Contact me if there's a situation you can't resolve," Sean ordered.
"Okay, Boss."
Cheryl nodded with a big smile, excited as her last boss did not trust her as much as Sean did.
"By the way, East World Hotel will have two new shareholders, each holding 20% of our shares. They're the chief of police, Gabe Wholeton, and the director of the prosecutors' office, Derrick Crate. But you can rest assured that they won't get involved in the business like me."
Sean added.
Cheryl nodded again in understanding.
