Some were in charge of defense and management, and some were from civil organizations.
Sabrina smiled and said to Sebastian, “Sebastian, look. The Summer family has disappeared from Star Island for more than 50 years, yet people still remember them. They love and respect you too. You must be so happy."
The man smiled faintly. What was happiness? Neither his career nor his ambitions could bring him happiness. The only things that could bring him happiness were his wife and his daughter.
In front of all of the high-ranking officials on the island, the domineering and ruthless, cold-blooded man suddenly pulled his wife into his arms and planted a soft kiss on her forehead, saying gently," Come on, it's time to board the plane." 1
Sabrina was speechless.
Did he have to do that?
That man!
He was becoming an expert at flaunting their loving relationship in public.
The trip to Star Island was worth it. It seemed Holden, who escaped, had taught her husband many valuable lessons. He would kiss her so naturally in such a
public place like the airport.
Ha!
Sabrina sneaked a peek at the high-ranking officials that came to send them off.
They were stunned, shocked by the sudden display of love, and had yet to recover. Before they regained their wits, Sebastian boarded the plane with one arm slung around Sabrina and carrying his daughter steadily in the other.
Minerva smiled as she replied, "Don't thank me, this is what I should do. In the future, I will be accepted into the best medical school in South City. I want to be a doctor."
Nigel returned her smile and looked at Minerva," You’re beautiful."
Minerva was drinking a sip of water but hearing Nigel's words, she spat out her mouthful of water onto his face, “What...what did you say?"
Nigel indeed found the girl beautiful. Her wide face complemented her flat nose well. The smattering of freckles on both sides of her nose made her look cute and innocent. She was much cuter than those women with heavy makeup and bright lipstick. 1
Maybe Nigel had gone through too many pretty women in the past few years. He no longer found them appealing. When he saw a fresh, bare-faced young girl, he suddenly thought she looked extremely beautiful.
Nigel repeated solemnly, "You’re beautiful, the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
