Old Master Shaw's voice turned sorrowful, "Sebastian, can't you do me this favor?"
"Favor?" Sebastian calmly asked on the phone, "If it weren't for you, Selene would have already died six years ago. Six years ago, she was pregnant with an unknown child and somehow suffered a miscarriage. She even told me that the child was mine. Do you think she would still be alive if you weren't standing i n front of her?"
Old Master Shaw was speechless.
Sebastian said, "Also, six years later, I found my wife, and she did so many things to my wife. If it weren't for you, don't you think she would already have died a hundred times over?"
The calmness of Sebastian’s voice showcased how cold and stubborn he was.
On the other end, Old Master Shaw resisted his tears," Sebastian! No matter how despicable Selene is, she has never killed anyone. I don’t think her crimes are worthy of death."
Sebastian replied, "Never killed anyone?"
After that, he laughed coldly, "Do you think the Lynn family has never killed anyone? Old man... aren't you worried you'll regret it one day?"
Before Sebastian's words could be spoken, he was stopped by Sabrina in front of him.
Sabrina shook her head at Sebastian.
Her expression was very determined.
Although she did not know how much Sebastian knew, she did not want Sebastian to say anything.
She wanted nothing said.
In this lifetime, Sabrina did not plan on having any more ties with Old Master Shaw.
Sabrina suffered all the insults and humiliation under Old Master Shaw, and she would never forgive the man for that pain.
Hence, nothing should be said!
Sebastian stopped speaking.
Sabrina laughed, "Mr. Shaw, are you praising me? Getting praised by you is my greatest honor, thank you."
Old Master Shaw replied, "You really are something else to be able to laugh so naturally.”
Sabrina still laughed, "Of course it's natural! No one was there to love me since I was young. My father died when I was little, and I lived till I was twelve before I went to the Lynn family and never saw the Lynn family's smiles. I was sent to prison right when I entered college. I then stayed in prison for two years. The only person who cared for me was my mother-in-law. If I didn’t learn how to laugh, wouldn't my life be even more bitter?"
"Hence, I don't know anything else but to laugh."
"No matter if anyone else praised, harmed, or scolded me, I would keep laughing!"
Old Master Shaw replied, "You..."
He went through a coughing fit on the other end and continued pointing fingers at Sabrina after that,"
Sabrina, you have a child now. Your child is a girl. Did you ever think that someone like you who seduced men wherever you go would end up educating your daughter the wrong way? What if your daughter takes after you when she grows up? Why aren't you giving your daughter a good future?"
