How nice would it be if Aino would call him father?
A title he did not even have to work for?
Even better!
Holden liked it!
During breakfast, Sabrina did not do anything. It had been Holden who was feeding Aino.
Sabrina was so shocked that she did not know what to do.
After they ate, Aino made a big deal of wanting to go out.
Sabrina felt like going out was a good idea. She would at least be able to observe the local geography and scenery. Star Island was a small place, and a day was enough to tour the whole place.
Sabrina held Aino's hand as they excitedly left the East Hall, and they coincidentally saw the doctors opening the door in the West Hall, going in to treat Selene’s head.
Selene was sitting on a recliner in the courtyard.
Aino let out a burst of uncontrollable laughter when she suddenly saw Selene's bandaged head, "Haha, Mom, look, that ugly monster’s head is still full of bruises. Her purple bruises might look a bit better, but
now her whole head is wrapped in white bandages. She looks just like an abstract melon. Mom, it’s too funny. Quickly take a look. Did you bring your phone? Take a picture quickly. I want to see this ugly woman's ugly pictures."
In the courtyard, Selene immediately got up in a fit of anger.
She angrily ran toward Aino.
She seemed full of anger but devoid of strength.
Selene's face was pale as a ghost and looked very scary.
Aino, who laughed at Selene, was so scared that she immediately hid behind her mother.
However, Sabrina did not know where the danger laid.
Sabrina sat in Holden's car, and surrounding them were Holden’s bodyguards and some of the Payne family's maids.
The first place Holden brought Sabrina and Aino to was the beach. It was early in the summer when it was neither too hot nor cold, and the sea breeze was very soothing. There were quite a lot of people playing on the beach. Holden happily looked at Sabrina and Aino running around, laughing as they played.
A slight smile appeared on his face involuntarily.
It was a very happy and content smile.
When he was relishing that feeling, Holden's phone rang. He took it out and looked at the unknown number.
He did not want to answer it initially, but he still did after thinking for a moment. His tone was extremely rude, "Who is this?! You can call my assistant for any matters. Why did you call me directly?!”
On the other end was Sebastian's calm voice, "It’s me, Sebastian Ford.”
