Aino continued, "Baddie. I love it. Baddie, can I name my teddy bear Baddie too? It is okay if the two of you share the same name, Baddie?"
Holden was speechless.
He felt as if he had fallen into a trap. He had been duped and hoodwinked.
"Uhm...” Holden asked Aino with a stutter. "Little...
Little princess..."
“Call me Cutie Pie!" Aino said with a high and mighty tone. "There's already a little princess in your household, that Minerva girl! She’s so ugly. When you say the words 'little princess' I'm reminded of an ugly girl like her, so I don't want to be called Little Princess. Just call me Cutie Pie."
"Uhm... Cutie Pie, you... I... I share the same name as your teddy bear, but look... Your teddy bear is so ugly. I t doesn't have any eyes, so how can someone as handsome as me share the same name as an eye-less teddybear. That's too..."
"Hmph!" Aino burst into tears again. "This is my favorite teddy bear. I bring it with me everywhere I go. You can't say it’s ugly! You can't!"
With that, Aino jumped down from her chair. She ran t o Holden, grabbed a hold of his nose, and twisted it here and there in all directions.
"Aino!" Sabrina scolded.
The waiter standing at the side was shocked too.
From afar, two waiters looked in their direction mindlessly. They were fully prepared. The moment Holden dared to hurt the Little Princess, they would be ready to kill him.
However, to everyone's surprise, Holden bent down and said to the little girl with a gentle tone, "Alright, alright, stop crying, okay? Look at you, you stepped on my shoes again, and even twisted my nose, and you nicknamed me Baddie too. I didn’t cry, so you should stop crying too."
"I like the name Baddie very much, and I like my teddy bear very much too!" Aino stopped crying, merely pouting and looking at Holden with distaste.
“So you mean, you like me too?" Holden asked, trying t o curry favor with the little girl.
Aino was speechless."..."
She blinked innocently, as if she had been tricked.
"You’re remaining quiet, so if you don't say anything, that means you acknowledge that you like me."
Holden prepared a way out of the awkward situation for himself.
"I still want to call you Baddie!"
"No problem!" "Hehe..." Instantly, Aino's smile glowed on her face like a sunflower.
Holden was speechless."..."
He was separating the biscuit in half for Aino, and in the middle of his task, he raised his head. The more h e thought about it, the more it did not make sense. He suddenly realized that the one who was trapped and hoodwinked was him!
Aino looked as if she was enjoying it very much. She swallowed the biscuit down her throat, closed her eyes to revel in its taste, then finally said, "It's delicious ... So, so, delicious. Thank you, Baddie.”
"Sure, take one more bite. Whatever you want to eat, just tell me and I'll feed you. In the future, I'll bring you here every day, Aino, my Little Prin... Cutie Pie."
"Thank you, Baddie."
In the short amount of time needed to finish the meal, Aino had already grown close to Holden.
Plus, it was the fruits of Holden’s labor. Aino did not initiate anything at all.
Sabrina looked at her daughter’s fabulous acting skills and felt deeply impressed.
What a good actress she was!
She wished she could turn around and tell Sebastian right now how good of an actress she was.
But Sabrina did not know where her husband was. Maybe, he was looking at her from a secluded spot.
After exiting the main entrance of the Star Island International Hotel, Sabrina looked around at her surroundings.
Suddenly, not too far in the distance, she noticed that a pair of eyes were staring straight at her.
