A shaft of light that came piercing in was so glaring that Sabrina did not even dare to open her eyes.
She chose to open her eyes a little to survey the place slowly and gradually.
It seemed like an old and abandoned warehouse.
Sabrina was carried out roughly by someone.
"That woman truly gave me a good gift. She told me you are a filthy and rotten woman, so I thought you were no different from those debauched women, but I've never expected that you are surprisingly so pure. Pure like a schoolgirl. Do you really have a six-year-old child already?" A voice sounded from behind her.
It was a male voice.
Sabrina turned her head around and saw a gruesome face with a scar.
The man had a big mouth, a pair of droopy hooded eyes, and did not look like a good person at a glance. Although he wore a suit, his suit seemed like it was randomly picked up from somewhere and had no quality at all.
Sabrina said contemptuously, "Even if you were to get me killed, you have to let me know what’s going on at least. Who are you?" "You are not afraid then?" The man asked with
interest.
Sabrina said calmly, "What's the use of me being afraid?"
The man shrugged his shoulders. "There's truly no use at all."
"So..." Sabrina shrugged her shoulders and smiled." Why should I be afraid?"
She was indeed not afraid and was not pretending at all.
It was not that she felt being afraid was useless. It was because she had been through all sorts of hardships and dangerous situations since childhood. When she was not even twenty years old, she was taken away after being determined as a murderer. She did not even know if it was going to be a death or life sentence. She was not even twenty years old that year.
She had already been through that kind of experience, let alone now.
After all, she lived almost eight years longer since then.
The voice should be outside the abandoned warehouse, and Sabrina was very familiar with that voice.
Also, that voice should be talking on the phone. "I'm telling you that I have already caught the person. How to deal with her? Shouldn't I be given the courtesy to handle this d*mned woman on my own? Let me tell you, my hatred for this woman is no less than yours. All of my reputation, status, and disgrace now, all my everything is related to this b*tch! Therefore, I must personally let Sabrina Scott received the most terrible punishment!"
Sabrina was speechless.
All enemies truly would inevitably meet on a narrow path!
Sabrina calmly shut her eyes. The person with the familiar voice, who was on the call outside, walked in shortly afterward, but Sabrina still did not open her eyes.
She was playing possum and truly did not want to see that woman's face.
"Sabrina Scott, raise your head and look at me!" The woman's tone was incomparably condescending.
Sabrina slowly opened her eyes and said in a flat and cold tone, "Mindy Mann, I haven't seen you for three days, and you’ve made me see you in a whole new light!"
