Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 778

In the small room with dim lights, Ruth was completely naked and was shaking like a leaf. There was an old man in bold laying in his own pool of blood.

"Ruth?" Sabrina shouted.

Ruth scrambled up and ran towards Sabrina, sobbing. Sabrina immediately pulled her handkerchief out from her handbag for Ruth to cover up as much as she could.

"Ruth, are you okay? Did you get hurt?" she asked, worried.

"Sabrina...I didn't. I did what you said and fought with everything I had. But when I resisted, they stripped m e down to nothing and even tossed my undergarments away. This old man came in and hit me in the head but I white-knuckled through it. I waited until he undressed himself and then I took his belt and smacked his head with the buckle over and over again. I'm so scared...am I going to jail?"

Sabrina pulled Ruth into her arms and comforted her." You did right, Ruth. You have been great, so great.

That was nothing but self-defense, you'll be fine."

Just as she was speaking, a woman in heels stepped into the room from behind them and stopped right before Sabrina. "So you are here to butt in?"

Sabrina turned. The woman had big curls in her hair

with a cigarette in her mouth. It was clear that this woman had been in the industry for years and was someone who could not compromise easily.

Sabrina sneered. "I've already shown my picture to those four men of yours."

"Wife to Master Sebastian of South City?" The woman returned the sneer.

Her subordinate immediately took his phone out to call and run a check on the card. After a few minutes o f verification, he went and reported to the woman. "It's true, there are five million dollars in the card. Also..."

The woman flinched and asked, "Also what?"

The subordinate leaned closer and whispered into her ear. "The card belonged to Master Sebastian of South City. It's Sebastian Ford's personal card."

The woman was instantly stunned and the cigarette she was holding between her fingers dropped to the ground. She forced a professional smile and went to Sabrina. "I-I am so sorry, Mrs. Ford. I...we had no idea that...she is your friend. Had we known, we would have never..."

"Go get her some clothes!" Sabrina roared.

"Ye-yes...right away!" The woman scrambled to go up and came back down after having everything arranged. She handed the card back to Sabrina gingerly and explained, her voice trembling. "Mrs. Ford, there is a shop that sells clothes not far from here. Nothing fancy, but should be more than enough t o cover her up. Here...here is your card, we...won't take a single buck. Please...please have mercy on us."
