"Your wife?” Yuri asked as the words exploded out of his mouth.
Fany was shocked stupid. She pointed at Sabrina, "She ...how could she be your wife? She was practically a beggar. She stayed with us when she was younger, with a head full of lice and shoes filled with holes. I washed her hair and bought her pretty clothes, but she stole our family's..."
"You liar! I hope your whole family dies a gruesome death!" A sharp and pitiful voice drifted in from outside the room at that moment.
Everyone immediately looked outside.
The high school teacher was standing right outside.
"You..." Mary, who was kneeling on the floor, turned and looked toward the entrance, "Molly Homme, are you rubbing salt into my wounds right now?" 1
Molly laughed viciously, "Bah! Mary Smith, if I could, I would like to tear you shreds right now! My biggest wish is to see your entire family die!"
Mary was speechless.
Molly suddenly started crying, "Yuri Smith, Fany Long, do you know why I sent this photo to you? Do you know how I found out your daughter was on her knees here in this hotel?"
She turned around and tugged at the female staff standing beside her, "This is my cousin! She told me m y chance for revenge is here, so she sent me the photo, and I forwarded it to the two of you. That's right. I wanted to anger you so you would come here yourself! I want you to know, I have no power to fight you, but someone else does, someone else will take care of you, someone else will do God's bidding!"
With that, Molly looked at Sabrina and Sebastian.
"Director Ford, Miss Scott." Tears flowed down Molly's cheeks, "I saw the post on the website. Director Ford's a good man, and I’m so envious of you, Miss Scott. You found a good husband. I heard from Mary Smith about what happened when you were twelve."
"Obviously, you were the lucky one, while I was not as lucky as you."
"Mary was my desk-mate in middle school."
"She always wanted to copy my homework. I never allowed her to, so she took it to heart."
"She quit school after middle school."
"I went on to high school and even graduated from university. I saw the rich and dazzling world outside and wanted to come home to help my hometown, to teach and educate the townspeople."
"I taught at the best high school in our area."
"Unfortunately, Mary Smith set her sights on me again."
"Thank you, thank you, Miss Scott,” Molly said sincerely.
Sabrina said, “You can live a good life!”
"You’re right!"
Sabrina led Molly to her table, sat her down on the VIP seat, and then looked at Yuri and Fany.
"Uncle Smith, Aunty Smith." Sabrina still addressed them the way she used to when she was twelve."
When I was younger, I didn't understand why Aunty Smith slapped me the first time I went to your house."
"Back then, I thought, I was a village kid. Although my clothes were old and wrinkled, and my shoes were full of holes, I was very clean and didn't smell at all. My clothes were clean too, but why didn't Aunty Smith like me?"
"Later on, after I grew up, I finally understood. She hit me because I was too clean, didn’t have lice on my head and wasn’t as bad as she imagined a village kid would be.”
"And, the time you kicked me, the time you broke three of my ribs with a single kick..."
