Sabrina's husband?
Coral was instantly stunned. "She...she doesn’t have a husband, she's a slut. She has been fooling around with men for more than ten years, so surely there's nobody out there who would want to be her husband... You... What’s your name?"
As Coral asked these questions, blood kept gushing out from the wound on her chest.
By now, she was already numb to the pain.
She didn’t even realize that she was basically on death's door. 1
Instead, she continued looking at Sebastian.
Watching her were Kingston, who had his foot on Old Nine and Sabrina who was still cuddled up in Sebastian's arms.
"Are you afraid?” Sebastian asked her softly.
Sabrina quickly shook her head. "I’m your wife, so I won't be afraid. Even if you hadn’t appeared, I wasn't about to just let these animals off the hook. I told myself that I would find their leader and bite them to death!"
Sabrina was telling the truth.
Even when she was locked up in here, she did not feel
fear at all. Nothing changed for her.
Was Coral pitiful?
Not at all!
She had never once met Coral her whole life, and yet Coral’s hatred for her ran so deep to the point where she didn't even hesitate to lock Sabrina up and sell her for a good price.
Even death was too good an end for people like her!
With such thoughts in her mind, Sabrina lifted her head out of his embrace to look at Coral, whose complexion was turning paler by the second. With half a smirk, she said innocently, "I'm sorry, Ms. Scott, oh, I mean my dear cousin! Sebastian Ford, let me introduce you to my cousin."
Sebastian Ford?
Despite being on the verge of death, Coral was still taken aback. "You... you're really Sebastian Ford? Sabrina, you really married him? Selene.... Selene lied t o me! She said that it was impossible for you to have married Sebastian Ford.... She lied to me!"
It was Selene again!
Her evil claws had extended to Sabrina's hometown, influencing a cousin that Sabrina herself didn't even know she had.
"On top of that, all the heavy lifting and physically-grueling labor at home was done by my mother alone.
"Back when my father was still alive, the three of us were so poor that we had no food to eat. However, we never received any help from you or your family then.
"No other relatives seemed to concern themselves with him either.
"Yet now, all of a sudden, when you're about to die, you call yourself my cousin?"
Upon hearing this, Coral was at a loss for words.
She only began speaking again after a few seconds." I'm... I'm sorry, Sabrina, but I really am your cousin. I really, really am...'"
Though Coral's words sounded sincere, Sabrina felt no remorse for her at all. "I'm sorry, but back when we were at my old house, I begged you to let me go. I even said that I was willing to give you every single cent of the compensation money you embezzled, as long as you set me free. 1
"Do you remember what you said back then? You told me that you weren't my cousin.
"Besides, would any cousin of mine call up so many men here to gang-rape me?
"Coral Scott, you've made up your mind a long time ago to see me dead!"
