Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 715

At worst, she would only face death.

Now that Aino was with her father, whom she had grown close to, Sabrina could leave this world with no regrets.

As such, she didn’t make a single sound as the four men tried to restrain her.

"Saddle..." Granduncle Scott called out, his eyes beginning to tear.

Being the lonely old man he was, Granduncle Scott did not dare to get on the wrong side of rich business people like Coral, who had power and influence in the town.

"Granduncle," Sabrina said calmly, "I'm sorry for troubling you."

"Bring her back to the county town." Heeding Coral’s order, the four men immediately walked out, dragging Sabrina along with them. The other villagers simply watched on as it all unfolded.

In the end, the quiet and hardworking ones didn't say anything. Being powerless themselves, they were afraid of crossing the wrong people.

They could only sigh.

Those who were standing in the crowd whispered to each other, "Sigh, if you don’t have many family

members and are not powerful yourself, you'll always end up getting bullied."

"Sabbie is quite unlucky too. She escaped from this town and hid for more than ten years, so why is she back now? She shouldn't have come here."

Another villager added, "She must have had a hard time living outside. Why else would she come back? I heard from the Lynn girl who came here five or six times before that Sabrina gave birth to a child. I wonder how the child is doing now. I’m guessing that Sabbie must have gotten on the wrong side of the rich Lynn girl."

"Is that why the Lynn girl and Coral are working together now to get rid of Sabrina?"

"Of course! Poor child.”

"Shut up! We better keep quiet. Carol has people working for her everywhere in the county town. We can't hope to fight her."

The driver instantly reached for the money while glaring at Sabrina with a look of disdain.

He even said incredulously, as if he found his own words hard to believe, "I never expected a young girl like you who looks so beautiful and glamorous on the surface to be involved in that line of business!

"If I knew, I wouldn't have driven you all the way here. Your cousin really needs to teach you a lesson. Girls nowadays, when they leave their hometowns for the big cities, they get caught up in its dazzling attractions and easily go down the wrong path. Coral, I hope you can set your cousin back on the right path."

Meanwhile, Sabrina did not say a word, which prompted Coral to look at her with a vicious smile.

Then, after closing the car doors, the engine was immediately reignited. Before she could even take one last look at her old house and the small cemetery buried behind it, the car sped off, away from the village.

The whole time, she had been praying for Sebastian to arrive soon.

After about a ten minutes' drive, the car skidded to a stop. From the back seat, Sabrina overheard Coral making a phone call. "I just got a good one. Are you coming now?"
