"Why are you helping me?" Sabrina asked, i
"Helping you? Haha!" Mindy laughed in contempt and said, "Why would I help you? I'll be very honest with you, you are prettier than most girls around, and you just kind of ooze like the type of cheap skank that men are naturally drawn to. Master Sebastian kissed you in public and my cousin had taken the initiative t o talk to you. Both are proof that you are a woman who has the ability to seduce men of the elite community! I asked for you to play the role, so that my cousin, Master Sebastian and the others can see you for who you are. A cheap, disgusting low-born."
Sabrina looked at Mindy as she finally realized what the woman had in mind, she wanted for Sabrina to make a fool of herself at the banquet. But to Sabrina, what was there to fear if there was money to be earned out of it?
"Okay! I'll take it!" Sabrina answered decisively.
"It's settled then!" Mindy smiled.
Sabrina did not return the smile and turned to leave without another look towards Mindy.
"Wait." Mindy shouted from behind again.
Sabrina turned to look at her, puzzled.
"When do you have time to try on the looks?" Mindy
asked cheerfully.
"Any time after work," Sabrina replied without hesitation as she thought to herself. 'It's just playing the fool. What does a woman who has been to prison like me have to be afraid of?' 1
"Well, this look seems successful. Why don't you go out and walk around so I can take a better look? If everything checks out, we will settle on this look and move on to the next one, the step-mother." Mindy looked triumphantly at Sabrina like she was her masterpiece. Sabrina did not respond. She stepped out of the store obediently and walked around on the street. The custom was so convincing that even the pedestrians on the street would instantly think of her as the lowly woman that excelled in the pleasure business. Mindy nodded in content and gestured for Sabrina to come back into the store for the next look, but before Sabrina could enter, she was stopped by an old man that had just stepped out of his vehicle shouting, "Stay where you are!" 2
Sabrina turned to look at the elderly and was instantly overwhelmed with a familiar feeling like she knew him when in truth, she could be certain that she had never met the man before. 1
"Can I help you? Sabrina asked calmly.
"Are you the woman that wouldn't leave my grandson alone?" The elderly stared straight into her eyes with absolute authority. 1
Sabrina frowned. "Who are you?"
