Seeing how Sebastian was stunned, the two designers who had served Sabrina immediately tried to explain." I'm sorry, Mr Ford. We... We actually... Actually, we selected the most extravagant dress that you had in mind for Madam, but she seemed to prefer this one. This is the lowest priced one out of all the dresses here.
"It's considered to be no-frills and does not come with any accessories at all.
"However, I must say, Madam really does have a very good eye. Even though it's a lowly priced dress with a simple style, it still looks extremely good on Madam."
The first half of the designer's words were an apology t o Sebastian.
However, he had begun genuinely complimenting her during the second half of his explanation.
Sabrina really did have a really good figure, which made her look good in everything.
Even though the designer had picked out the most luxurious styles and brooches in the store for her earlier, Sabrina said no to all of them.
After trying them on, she felt they were all either too extravagant or conspicuous. She was used to dressing quite plainly, so she could not get used to those flamboyant outfits.
Before changing out of the last one, Sabrina pushed open the door to the fitting room and pointed at a simple dress with no brooches, embellishments or jewelry at all and said, "Let me try on that one, alright?"
"Ah?" The designer was taken aback by her request.
"Why? Can't I try it on?” Sabrina asked.
"Yes, yes! Of course, you can!" the designer replied quickly.
Surely you're kidding!
If Mrs Ford wished to try on that dress, then of course she could.
Even if that particular model was already reserved for someone else.
Just like that, Sabrina put on the plainest and cheapest dress in the store and showed it cautiously t o Sebastian.
Nevertheless, she had never expected to see Sebastian looking so stunned.
Though she was wearing an elegant light blue dress, with no jewelry or accessories on, the outfit still brought out the kind of minimalistic beauty that suited Sabrina best.
With this dress, she could make people feel as if any gems adorned on her body would become a burden to her.
Because she simply did not care.
Which made even the largest of diamonds just mundane objects.
"We'll take this!" Sebastian announced.
The designer was left speechless.
The dress that Mr Ford had ordered for his wife was completely covered in diamond bits, and on top of that, just the brooch alone was worth 700,000 to 800,000 dollars. Surely anyone who got their hands on this dress could make a small fortune from selling it?
The dress had to be worth somewhere north of a couple of million dollars.
"Are you sure, Mr Ford?"
"Just say that Ford Group was doing a giveaway, and i t so happened that they were selected,” Sebastian said impatiently.
When they saw how Mr Ford was willing to pay such a high price just to swap for a dress that his wife liked with someone else, the designers present all looked at Sabrina with envy. 1
Pampered by a man like this, Mrs Ford really had fallen into the honey pot.
The designer immediately answered, "Alright, Mr Ford."
After that, he turned to Sabrina and whispered, "Mrs Ford, you truly are very lucky.”
Was she lucky?
Sabrina felt a warm sensation in her heart for a moment.
However, at that moment, she unconsciously sniffed her nose instead.
