Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 594

Selene's eyes widened in fear. She could only stare helplessly into Sabrina's calm gaze, which had a strong feeling of hatred hidden behind it.

"Selene, I never expected you to come up to me yourself. I couldn't have asked for anything better," Sabrina repeated, without giving Selene a chance to regain her composure.

"Let's take a guess," Sabrina continued while smiling innocently. "On whether or not my husband will reduce you to nothing more than a puddle of blood now?"

"No! No no no!" Selene immediately jumped, dropping the shoes that she had been holding onto the ground.

With the most flattering tone she could muster, Selene begged frantically, "Sis, please forgive my stupidity. I only came here today to apologize to you. I'll do anything, anything you want, okay? You are my elder sister, so please go easy on me?"

Though Selene had used the word "sister" repeatedly, a s if she truly considered Sabrina to be her older sister by blood, Sabrina seemed to remain unfazed.

Meanwhile, the onlooking crowd began to erupt with murmurs.

"What? That's Selene Lynn? I heard that she was

Master Sebastian's fiance."

"Sure, that's her, but she was probably just spreading rumors for her own sake. Master Sebastian himself even claimed that he has been married to Mrs. Ford for over six years, so she must be lying."

"Oh my, despite being the home-wrecker herself, she still had the audacity to point fingers at the victim?"

"And she even came here holding a pair of filthy old shoes early in the morning with the intention to hit Mrs. Ford?"

"How arrogant can she be? I've heard that her grandfather has a lot of subordinates who have all become individuals in high power or status, so she probably thinks she can get away with anything now."

"I even heard that the party Emma had organized 2 days ago with the other ladies of wealthy families in South City was actually orchestrated by Selene. She may not have been there physically, but it only shows how skilled she is when it comes to manipulating people, even when she was in Kidon City at that time!"

"So Selene Lynn was the one pulling the strings!"

Selene, taken aback, looked around frantically when faced with Sebastian's indifference, Sabrina's accusations, and the verbal assault from everyone else around her.

At that moment, she wanted nothing more than to find a place to hide. 3

She finally knew how Sabrina had felt back then, when she was trapped in a far more terrible situation. The difference being that this time, no one could rescue Selene from the humiliation. 1

Feeling as though all the strength had been drained from her legs, Selene was close to falling down on her knees. However, she thought to herself that if kneeling could get her out of this, she would do it without hesitation.

On the other hand, Sabrina, not intending to give Selene the opportunity to escape the consequences of her actions, was not interested in watching her kneel.

After all, she believed that being on the receiving end o f such an undignified gesture would only come back t o haunt her later in life.

Instead, Sabrina walked back to her desk, with Sebastian following closely behind her.
