Sabrina did not register the woman before her as Mindy, but she instantly recognized Marcus.

"Excuse me," she said politely, as the two were blocking her way to the counter. She slid by them and walked towards the counter.

"Excuse me, I've received a couple of calls from Master Tong and I...I am here to return the camera...the cost o f it, I mean."

"May I know how to address you ma'am?" The lady at the cashier asked.

"Ms. Sabrina. I rented a digital camera that was worth $1,500 USD from you four days ago, and I am here today to return it...the cost of it," Sabrina repeated. 1

"Ms. Sabrina!" The lady seemed delighted to see her and responded, "please bear with me a moment. Our boss has been looking everywhere for you." 1

Her stomach sank as she knew that she was three days late and was worried the boss would accuse her o f breaching the terms.

'It should be fine, I have $3,000 USD with me right now. This had to be enough to pay them back.'

The thought of the $3,000 USD she held once again had her heart filled with gratitude towards Nigel. The

small stack of money he tossed her the other day turned out to be over $3,000 USD to her surprise.

She stood quietly at the Leasing Center's lobby as she waited for Master Tong to come over. Both Marcus and Mindy seemed to have turned their attention over to her.

Sabrina had decided to treat Marcus like a common stranger on the street, which he was when she thought about it. They had only met once at the old Ford residence, and although they had exchanged numbers then, she was far too desperate at the time and had gone too far with trying to borrow money from him.

She had tried her best to stall in both times he had called and hung up without giving him a chance to say anything about it, so she could only accept whatever consequences she had to face.

"Oh, dear, Miss Scott. You kept hanging up before I had a chance to explain. Did you even have any idea why I was calling you? You did rent a digital camera that was worth $1,500 USD, but you rushed out to take a phone call before actually bringing the camera with you," said Master Tong smilingly. 2

"What...what did you just say?" Sabrina could not believe what she was hearing.

"I called you twice to tell you about this, and for the love of gods, you kept hanging up before I could say anything." 1

"So...so you were saying that that digital camera was not lost but I didn't take it with me?" Tears welled up i n her eyes in disbelief, and she smiled innocently at the news.
