Lincoln was stunned at the other end of the phone.
His voice stuttered uncontrollably for a while and said, "Master... Master Sebastian, weren’t you at Kidon City? Why were you...”
"My wife was framed, so I came back ahead of schedule,” Sebastian answered truthfully.
"Your wife...?" Lincoln immediately knew who Sebastian's wife was, but at that moment, he still asked robotically.
"Sabrina Scott!” Sebastian replied. 1
Lincoln was speechless.
His phone fell to the ground.
"What was wrong, dear?” Jade stepped toward him. Her face was full of cuts and bruises as she looked at Lincoln and asked.
"Sabrina and Master Sebastian, they got married.
Jade was speechless.
Jade howled in anger after a few seconds like a dying pig, "You...what did you say?! Sabrina married Master Sebastian. How could that be possible?! How could that be! If they were married, what about our little Selene? What about Selene?!”
Lincoln’s face turned pale as a ghost.
It seemed like something had happened that afternoon. The two of them had missed it. They were busy fighting that afternoon, all because of the blank letter Sabrina gave to him.
What did they miss?
Lincoln immediately went online.
Sebastian, who held Sabrina's phone in his hands, saw the call was automatically ended from the other end and asked Sabrina, "Why did Lincoln call you out o f the blue?"
Sabrina did not hide anything from him, "Lincoln and I had..."
She wanted to say she had beef with him but was suddenly reminded of Aino's presence. Aino was still s o young, and she did not want to expose her to the bitter grievances between adults prematurely.
"Toys!" Sebastian sneered.
The toys were on their way to their home. Although they weren't as much as a truckload, they had to be driven back with four or five cars. If she saw her toys, Aino would be so happy that she could fly into the sky.
The toys would initially take two or three more days before arriving.
However, as Sebastian rushed back to South City on such short notice, it would take a few more days before the toys were here.
Sebastian scoffed and looked at his daughter, "Aino, you hadn't answered my question yet. When I left, I asked you to take good care of Mommy. Why didn’t you do so?!"
Aino was confused, "...What happened to Mommy?"
The little girl looked at Sabrina worriedly.
Sabrina tugged at Sebastian's sleeve.
