Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 471

She then looked over to Aino and Susan. "The two of you should hurry and go in now."

After the two little girls had left hand in hand, the contempt on Susan's mother's expression was no longer concealed. She turned to Sabrina and asked," Aino's mommy, what happened to your private transport?"

"My husband is on a business trip," Sabrina gritted out, trying to suppress the annoyance she felt.

"But your clothes! They are so ordinary, what difference is there from wandering out to the street in your pajamas when you are dressed like this?"

Sabrina paused for a moment before saying, "Susan's mommy, what are you really trying to say?”

"Could it be that you sold the car and your branded clothes in order to gather up fifty thousand dollars? Be honest, are you the same kind of person like those other mothers, trying to pretend like you are rich when you are not? If that's your background, this group, no, this kindergarten has no place for your kind! " Susan's mother got increasingly agitated as she spoke.

Sabrina would have walked away and have Aino transferred to a different school in the past, she wouldn't want to be associated with such a prejudiced

woman. But things are different now. She still had to deal with Emma in the office and had no clue as to what might happen to her. She couldn't take the risk o f causing any trouble. She had no choice but to swallow her pride.

Lucky for her, that was when Mia Collen's mother decided to walk over. Her expression was filled with contempt as she sneered at Sabrina. "Susan's mommy, let's overlook this. As long as she is willing to pay, there is no reason she couldn't participate in the party. Aino's mommy, we'll see you then."

Sabrina nodded. "Date and time?"

Susan's mother paused at the dilemma she faced and said, "But the two children are really enjoying their friendship. I can't just butt in like that."

"Hmph!" Mia Collen's mother snorted in frustration and continued, "The children aside, us adults have to stand firm on our beliefs so that our children will know better than to be associated with ordinary children from lowly families."

"I understand, Mrs. Collen," Susan's mother responded respectfully.

Meanwhile, Sabrina took the bus to her company and a s soon as she stepped into the elevator, she noticed that a few of her female colleagues were whispering to one another. Sabrina couldn't hear what they were saying, but she knew for certain that they were talking about her. Sabrina did not bother with it. She stepped out of the elevator calmly and walked towards the office.

A voice shouted from behind her as soon as she took her seat. "Sabrina, who thought you would actually have the nerve to show up here?"
